- Day one at Rocky Mountain Race Week! It was a bit of a rocky start 😂 (this video was minimally edited in order to get it out as soon as possible while on the road, thank you for understanding!)
Y'all are awesome, no sleep in days and still manage to smile & say the famous, "Hellooow~!" ✌️😂❤️
The important thing is to enjoy yourselves, we appreciate the video knowing that you guys been hustling for days with no sleep.
Exactly! My goal is to just make at least one pass at each race and finish the event under my own power, I think I’m doin alright so far 😁

You're doing pretty well on no sleep ! If you were any happier I think you'd explode !! Great to see you made it through day 1. Seems that clutches are still haunting you......what the hell ! I'm sure you two will get it figured out. How's the elbow doing Tess ? Looks like an elastic support on there maybe ? Whatever helps. Enjoy this experience !!
We ended up adjusting the clutch a little and it was ok after that. The elbow is hanging in there, haha. Today’s track day was a little brutal on it, but it’s still shifting every gear!

Would've been awesome if ya'll could've talked all of the SRC crew to do race week with ya'll. I bet the Ol' Man, Billy, Tommy, and the rest of the crew would have a blast doing a drag & drive event.

I really like the white mustang. I have (what I believe is) a really good suggestion that will solve your transmission failure problems with that car: try running a Lenco 5-speed. They are extremely reliable: almost bulletproof, in fact; and very streetable. My cousin ran one behind his 500-hp street Windsor-based SBF for years with no problems, while never missing the weekly bracket races & occasional shenanigans in Mexico😉.

We missed drag week this year because of engine problems. We're doing Sick Week, though!!
I would be thinking much more highly of Mavericks today if more pretty blonds had been driving them in the 70's. lol. All I had was a 440 SIXPACK 70 Challenger that raced everything that came along. I think I got in a million red light races.

It seems odd to me, with as much as everyone pays for a fuel system, the #1 problem every single drive/drag event is bad fuel pumps. I just figured a $1000 fuel pump should last a little while anyway. I wonder if the in-tank systems have as many problems as remotes do.
I know you guys love banging gears but put a 400 in that car already. Lol. 400 with all the nitrous. I know it will never happen but you guys keep your clutch company in business for sure.
To bad you guys didn't take the white mustang I love the foxbody and especially that 410sbf it's a bad ass motor but I do love the maverick to what motor is in the maverick and heads

I joined your channel after seeing you on Old man's garage. I love the car I remember when I was a kid my neighbor had 2 cars a 69 Camaro and I believe it was a 71 maverick it was dark green and it had a 351. I remember going for a ride in that car and my smile was from ear to ear lol anyhow glad you guys are staying strong and having fun
