Man im glad I found your channel, REEL rod building information not the white collar plug and play stuff lol. My question to you is about weight/sensitivity. Specifically grips. Is plain foam/resin/carbon wrapping the lightest method? Is it possible to do 6lb foam and ONLY resin or must you use mesh wrap? Is it worth arboring full length EVA grips to trim the EVA weight? Does paint and clear coating a blank kill sensitivity?

John can a one piece rod blank be made into a two piece rod? also how to install a ferrule.
You can, but the rod will not be made for it. Most two piece rods have re-enforced ferules. If using a glass rod you can just fit a metal ferule.
