Just fiitted mine following the video as no instructions with it. Used a few of your videos now to install things and they've all been brilliant. Keep up the good work
Enjoyed this video Steve I once owned a old Ford caprice 1986 model with 1.6 engine I fited a quick shifter on that car it felt like a racer on the road u after drive one to experience how good it feels great Chanel mate Phil from stoke
Looks great Steve. It looked more fiddly than difficult to fit, but as usual you made it look easy! You certainly struggled to get the power down on those wet roads. Keep them coming 👍
Hey man, I just did the boomba arm upgrade! Too late to tell you but the seat can stay and you’re way better off to attack from the opposite side. You set yourself up to have to deal with the steering column.
@@Sparkplugsteve thanks I did think to possibly install both for a laugh and see how short it would be but if finding neutral was difficult maybe not a very good idea. Coolerworx looks amazing I want one maybe in summer I'll buy one. Thanks for the great videos
Hey there and thumbs up for the nice video ! One question - I want to buy one as well but there are two options 5 gear or 6 gear. What is your opinion on this ? Thanks I’m advance
hi steve i really want one of these, but not a fan of the gaping hole/recess, are there any companies that make a plate or a shield for the hole, or can you use the gaitor on it still? Cheers
Having a bit of trouble with mine. Same car. The gear linkage that’s closest to drivers side with black end won’t go on it’s bending the cable when I try and I don’t know if it’s because I still have the short shifter attachment on the front like your pumaspeed one
Steve, do you have any difficulty insuring a salvage title car. I am told I need an engineers inspection (and approval) before I can insure mine. Thanks for the videos.
No problems at all. That was the old days of cat c where you needed an engineers report. The new cat n and s are different. Just mot, tax and inisre as normal
What pedal cover is that you have on the throttle? Been looking for something just to bring the pedal a bit closer to brake for track use. Right now I have to rotate my heel quite a bit. Did you do a video on how you fitted it, as I assume you'll need to drill the pedal?
Hey Steve! Hope you're well! Quick question, I'm assuming you took your pumaspeed short shifter off of the car before installing your coolerworx shifter, right? You're not combining both, right?
@@Sparkplugsteve happy days! Thinking about one for mine! Just need to save some money up then have a go fitting it :) probably going to go for m factory with mine :)
I dont even mess with cars, just here because i like to watch how you go about stuff. Enjoyed thanks.
Thank you

Glad they have helped. Thank you.
I can't imagine having to shift with my left hand. Great video BTW and what a nice piece of kit.
Another good video and you show no fear unclipping plastic ,pulling here and there. A job well done.
Thank you.

Phil from stoke
Fantastic bit of a kit that is,can tell your not bullshitting by the way it pops into gear.
Yeh really is quality.
What a lovely piece of kit! Nice to see a video on installing one, looks a nice alternative to a CAE
Thankfully half the price..
Hope they made it a little bit longer and closer to the wheel like the Cae..
The temptation is very, very real! Looks awesome mate
The action of that lever looks really positive, very impressed, a great video, cheers Steve.
Thank you Paul
Love it Steve. Nice to see another Steve thats old, welsh, and is a petrol head. I'm two valleys over from you.
Looks great Steve. It looked more fiddly than difficult to fit, but as usual you made it look easy! You certainly struggled to get the power down on those wet roads. Keep them coming 👍
Yes it was very slippery. Thank you.

Fantastic video Steve as always
Thanks Mark
Thanks for making this video. I just finished installing this kit and I most say Im very impressed. 🤘
Wow this will be a very good up grad for your st
Looks like a great alternative to CAE shifter!
Did you say you had the coolerworx shifter and the shirt shift adapter at the same time which made finding neutral difficult?
For me yes it did
@@Sparkplugsteve thanks I did think to possibly install both for a laugh and see how short it would be but if finding neutral was difficult maybe not a very good idea. Coolerworx looks amazing I want one maybe in summer I'll buy one. Thanks for the great videos

One question - I want to buy one as well but there are two options 5 gear or 6 gear. What is your opinion on this ? Thanks I’m advance
St is 6 gear
Looks superb Steve. Will definitely be staying tuned for future instalments!
Thank you
That shifter looks an epic piece of kit.
Best mod I did to my evo

Been waiting for this install
Thanks.

Looks like it works better than a cae in my opinion looks good as well
Very cool piece of kit. Thats the only short shifter i would use since im not a fan of those adapter plates, but the price is horrendous!
Have you tried the cheaper short shifter adapters? Their actually pretty good imo
Everyone doing this as a how to play by play just got messed up at 7 mins....... No one has a 10mm.
Awesome video! Question, do you know if this setup will fit the USDM version of the Fiesta ST?
When you hitting the track next Steve? I'll be at Donington with my Fiesta this weekend. Hoping the weather holds out!
Iv got nothing booked at the moment. Have fun at Donington, live that track
Looks sick mate
Nice bit of kit 👍🏻
Spark plug Steve & Steve MRE info, my two favourite Steve's 🙆🙆🙆
Thanks Brian.
Did your shifter sit in the right place out the box? I thought the rods needed adjusting as well?
Ur front bumper looks very nice
what a contraption! can't fault the functionality but nobody can convince me they look good. that said, if you don't care its a no brainer 👍
One man's meat is another man's poison. Thanks for watching
enjoy them all mate 👍
So, short shifter going in the van shortly then 😂👍🏻
Nice vid man, looks nice 👌
Thanks. Watched your cae vid again a few days back to remind myself how much grief you had with that one. Seemed like a nightmare.
Another top video.
Can you explain the limit adjuster again? I got lost at that part...
Can you make a video on how and where to jack fiesta st up as im wanting to lower my car but not knowledgeable on car jacking. Thanks
Tobyn im gunna be honest with you buddy, if you dont know how to jack to a car up its not safe for you to swap out your suspension.
@@loganlawlzoutloud Fine then. I'll just change the springs out without jacking the car up
@@Tobyn Good luck with that.
Good work good cars the fiestas petrol or diesel great road holding cars and easy to keep for parts being a ford 😀😀

Many thanks for that.
Thanks for the video I want to keep my trim with one of these so I'll have to be creative also
Very nice 👍🏼 Steve do you have an uprated lower gearbox mounting ? I don’t remember you fitting one 🤔
No still on the Ford one. Thanks.
What pedal cover is that you have on the throttle?
Been looking for something just to bring the pedal a bit closer to brake for track use. Right now I have to rotate my heel quite a bit.
Did you do a video on how you fitted it, as I assume you'll need to drill the pedal?
It's a sparco off memory and yes you need to drill the pedal. Take off the factory metal cover and drill through. Pedal is plastic so easy to do.
I’ve already watched this how did I get back here
I don't know but I'm glad your back. 😁
Looking good. Did the feet keep up with the shifter, or did you get a few ropey gear changes?
Not a single ropey shift. Everything was perfect.
This looks great and sure it will do what it's mean to,but how do you get reverse ?
Same as normal just you pull the lever.
Thank,s didn't know that 😊
I wonder if this would fit a MK8 ST? Asking for a friend…..😅
Im reading that you CAN use the shift plate that you had on with this. Im intrigued now
I had my short shifter adapter set at max 25% so maybe if you had it at 15% it could work but for me it was almost impossible to find neutral.
@@Sparkplugsteve that absolutely makes sense to me. I drove a focus ST with a 51 percent throw reduction and had the same problem lol.
Hey Steve! Hope you're well! Quick question, I'm assuming you took your pumaspeed short shifter off of the car before installing your coolerworx shifter, right? You're not combining both, right?
Didn’t realise you were a local chap! I’m from Tonyrefail myself
Very close by.
I guess the installation would be way easier, if one would just connect the cables before bolting the shifter down? Epic shifter though!
Possibly so. But I didn't think of that at the time.
After all this time with your shifter, any long term reviews? Would you still buy this today? What can you tell someone looking to buy this now?
Yeh it's been great since I had the updated shifter part's fitted
@@Sparkplugsteve can you elaborate updated shifter parts? What else have you done with it?
It broke but coolerworx improved the design and i replaced with the new updated parts. I do have a video of it if you scroll through
What's your plans going forward looks like your ready for the next level. Thanks
All handling mods planned. Lsd, bushes etc.
Are they really worth £600. Great vid 👍👍🇦🇺
Looking good Steve! Good video! What's next? Have you ever thought about an LSD? :)
Yes 100% always thinking about one. Iv almost sorted one so will be done in next few months.
@@Sparkplugsteve happy days! Thinking about one for mine! Just need to save some money up then have a go fitting it :) probably going to go for m factory with mine :)
Wich is that front bumper?
Do they make that for a focus st
Will this work on a mk6 fiesta (st150)
No
Would you happen to know if this fits on the USDM Fiesta ST ?
I think it does as there's a few USA sellers I noticed on Facebook.
Thought I recognised that road good old trebanog hill
Would u dialy that shifter?
What seat have you got mate ??
Motomec evo 2
What is the gas pedal mod?
shame ,,, they dont appear to do 1 for the st170
I told my mrs your motto steve, im a happy man lol
I need this
I’m not convinced with these, paying all that money when I can shift just fine with the stock stick 🤔
So many roundabout #miltonkeynes
wheel spin in 4th gear......animal
It was 3rd but maybe it did in 4th and I didn't realise.
Get yourself a wavetrac LSD best mod I ever did on my mk3 golf GTI ( 500hp)
@@kells77 iv considered a wavtrac but going to get a plated kaaz instead
I fail to see how this can make the car faster.
It doesn't make the car faster. It's a feel modification.
