I feel like every character on Parks and Rec just acts like themselves. I mean all of the interviews I've seen of all of the characters, even for different shows/movies they all act the same lol
I feel like that's the case with a lot of comedy actors though. Take Seth Rogen for example.

If 99 of you 100 neighbors vote to steal your car, it is still theft. If the crook they hire to steal your car, then gives you a moldy sandwich, that thief is not serving you they are not your servant. Voting doesn't magically make stealing life, liberty, or property moral. Voting is just choosing to participate in robbing and controlling your neighbors; how about live and let live? How about only criminals do the stealing, not making it a way of life? How about going to talk to your neighbors, instead of trying to force them how to live at gunpoint?

I kinda doubt that it's deadpan humor and only deadpan humor. I think she is naturally awkward, even if just a little bit.
She seemed short of breath while she was talking, which tends to happen to a lot of anxious people who've to speak in front of crowds. It happens to me all the time because I'm just a terrible public speaker.

B. It's just kind of the emphasis and how enthusiastic someone is when they talk. If the way they talk is kind of slow and dry, they're referred to as being monotone.

Well she had a stroke years ago so perhaps some of her "funny" is tied to that. I notice she relies on timing and is always thinking about how to use the moment as a joke. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. She does have a sense of comedic timing though though not particularly sophisticated. I like her stuff.

@@theilluminedone7896 she said something about the effect of the stroke concerning her persona on the vlog Hiking with Kevin. Agreed that her timing is pretty good. She works her angle well and takes some risks with disrupting polite society, but is somewhat reliant on not breaking character. She's no dummy, though, and maybe can branch out and grow a bit. I like her stuff, too.
This shows just how good of an interviewer Conan is. Like you can tell Aubrey is a little uncomfortable or at times and he dies a good job of joking and taking away some of the pressure of telling a story like thag

OMG I'm so celebrity crushing on this girl. This is the 5th video I've watched of her now. After seeing another interview of her on Conan. She isn't censored and Hollywood fake. She seems like a pair of ripped jeans that you just want to keep putting on. Never get tired of those ripped jeans. They're perfect even though people claim they aren't. Ya feel me? This girl is great. In so many ways.
