    I’m going 4” Callie’s ultra boost crank with ultra enforcer rods and diamond LS 2k pistons. LSX Block and Kong 2650. A bit over built but room to grow 2013 ZL1. Just waiting for the crank to ship.

    I like these tech segments with Alec. Hopefully there will be more in the near future. And maybe the next one will be on Cranks, cylinder heads, or piston rods.
    Not all Chinese parts are bad. Some heads are cast in china and finished machined in the U.S. (M311's). And its the same with the entry level cranks and rods. BTR, Compstar, Crower ,Eagle, K1, Lunati, Manley, Molnar, Scat, Sunmit Racing, Texas Speed, & what ever performance parts warehouse brand. Are all made in china and finished in the U.S.
    These entry level cranks and rods will get you by on a street turbo build. (About 1000-1200 max). But on a PD blower or max turbo build those cranks normally snap. So a windberg, Sonny Bryan, Callies magnum, or ultra paired with a great rod. ( ultra, ultra enforcer, oliver, etc.) Like Alec said will be the ideal combo.
    Ive seen too many people with 2650's snap those $1000-$1300 cranks. Please call LMP and stop trying to cut corners and be cheap. Buying the right stuff in the beginning is critical. It prevents you from paying double or triple to get it corrected in the future!!

      Zl1 & V3's are available now, we are finishing up the CT5 & CT4 to be available once we get back from racing this week.

    I just bought the GPI drop ins for my LT1. It came with the Callies Compstar rods and diamond pistons. Goal is 900whp with E and meth. Do you not think that rod is good enough for what I’m trying to do?

      As he just showed you "Diamond" pistons is a broad statement.. Its like saying what pistons should I use in my car.. You would need to know what car, what engine, what power.. ect.. ect.. He would need all the specs, and what is your power adder, ect ect.. And you heard him say the Compstar rods are "cheap overseas product".. When you spend the cash to build something at 1000hp.. You should be sourcing the best parts you can afford hands down.. Having a high rpm failure of any of the rotating assembly is super costly if it take out the block and heads or both.. Alec knows his stuff, I would be making a phone call and getting some true solid info.. My LT1 has at least 250 passes at over 600whp and half of those with a 125 shot of NX and its still within 10lbs of compression after break in.. But I bought some expensive pistons, rods & heads..
