- When Tom Hanks and his wife tested positive for the Coronavirus, it put a face on the disease. Ironically, in his latest movie, in the midst of war his character asked God for protection from an unseen enemy. Little did he know as he and his wife casually walked the shores of the famed Bondi Beach in mid-March 2020, that in a matter of days another unseen enemy would try to take his life.

Ray, I just open air preached to a group of about 50 or more people for the first time! I was in line at a grocery store outside waiting for them to open and thought man, these people aren't going anywhere, they need Jesus, why not tell them about Him now? I wrestled with the idea a few min and thought it would be easier if I just had a friend with me. Then I noticed someone else from my church happened to also be in line! This gave me the courage and final push I needed to just do it! I told them of God's goodness and love, why bad things like Coronavirus happen, and the importance of us turning around our from sin and to Him and how He will give us a new heart and desires. They most all listened and were receptive, a few nodded in agreement and said amen at the end of my 5min sermon. Nobody came up for prayer or to surrender their lives to Him at this time, but I'm sure they will remember the Lord visited them this day through a young lady who pled with them through tears, and that seeds were planted or watered. I'm so glad I overcame my fears and just did it! Now I know I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Thank you Ray, listening to your videos has helped me so much!

I was saved out of the occult at 33 alone in a room. I had asked "Jesus if you're real show me" and He did. Many say they have faith in "God" but which "God"? Unless one realizes no one gets to the Father except through Jesus' atoning death on the Cross they die in their sin forever. So when I hear "I believe in God" "I go to Church" nothing... my question is "Who is Jesus to you?" That is where the rubber meets the road. After I was saved two separate women came to me telling me Satan had called me to be a witch. Many families may have only one phone that’s used only for emergencies. The airplanes can bring people that know and preach the Gospel to nations where the truth of Jesus is not known. Even then, there are language barriers and many challenges to make it out into the nations. Yet one person receiving the Gospel can change the nation. The people coming out of the Gentile religions: Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, etc. then they become disciples that preach the Gospel in their nations. It takes change of heart. @@milliem8051 Was a long process I guess. I believed everything a born again Christian believes but I was still sinning. I wasn't reading the scripture or praying. Gradually I started to read scripture regularly. I tried to make an effort to stop sinning. I had done the step by step online process on how to be saved (lol), but I wasn't. One day i started to worry very badly about my salvation. After a few days, i decided to pray to Jesus for guidance, repent and ask if I was still being sinful. The next day, i knew I had changed, I felt at peace as well as a bunch of other things that made me realise I was a new creation. I think that's why Ray tries to put the fear of God into people using the cliff analogy and calling the fear, good. As a "luke warm Christian", I never had the fear. Hope that answers the question. Well, I agree to a degree. I am sure, like Keven Sorbo, there are true born again believers in the entertainment areas. Kanye too, I pray for him. But actors who play religious characters may think that that is enough to be 'spiritual' almost like a 'good work' maybe. Maybe. Maybe not. Wesley King When I say we Christians shouldn't be self-righteous. No one can be sure of heaven because we constantly fall. I believe, we have to keep repenting and asking and replying on GOD to prevent us from falling into temptation and pray unceasingly that we can be made white as snow through the blood of Jesus. I still struggle and fall even when relying on GOD and knowledge seems to be a new temptation that I must fight. Keep repenting to God and forgive others constantly. Love others, hold no grudges, and constantly pray for God’s mercy because we are fallen and constantly need God’s mercy.
Hey guys question cuz I think I've been playing the hypocrite. I tell my family members for example adultry is bad, but yet I still struggle with it, I get lustful thoughts that I dont want to have so I rebuke them in jesus name. Is that playing the hypocrite? I dont enjoy the thoughts that's why I rebuke them, but even so is that hypocrisy to tell others that it's bad? If so I need to stop God doesnt like hypocrites.

With respect, Mr. Hanks' idea of faith and that of a Christian are very different things. Tom believes all gay men become "angels in heaven," and publicly said so in one of his several Oscar speeches. It is, of course, God's decision regarding who does and does not enter the heavenly realm, but human beings never become angels, as scripture makes very clear. Tom has been blessed with wonderful ability as an actor, and by all account, is a very nice man, but his is not a faith in Christ, which, let's face it, is all-important unless Christ is himself is a liar; He himself claims to be the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and the _only_ path to God the Father. I do pray Tom and Rita Wilson (Hanks) will recover and recover fully, and that he will come to know the true path to eternal life.

The believers of Jesus Christ know with certainty that our sins have been washed clean by the blood of Jesus and that we are already seated with Christ Jesus in heavenly places...
The unbelievers cannot go to heaven where God the Father resides because they have no covering for their sins. They do not believe in the blood atonement of Jesus Christ for their sins, thereby rejecting the free gift of salvation from God. Sin cannot enter into heaven where God the Father resides because God is very holy.
God has already made the way for man to enter heaven through faith in Jesus Christ...
And it is not scriptural to say God decides who does or does not go to heaven...
I pray God our Father give you understanding that you may abound more in His truth.

Christians doubted Paul’s conversion, they thought he was still trying to kill them and that he was pretending to have become a Christian in order to kill them. So it makes sense that Christians now days doubt the conversion of people such as Kanye west, or Justin Bieber, because of their history. But nothing is impossible with God. If he can change the apostle Paul who killed christians, he can change celebrities hearts and lives as well.

caraliny I would put myself in the former fans of Mr. Hanks after his participation the movie The DaVinci Code (same for Ron Howard). That film caused such spiritual disaster. My oldest & dearest friend is Jewish, and she eventually became an Orthodox Jew in her young adulthood. All these years later, that cursed movie came out. And the ONLY time she’s ever brought up the Christian faith with me was to ask about the movie. The conversation was brief, as she wanted to conclude by saying dismissively, “Well, it’s true [everything in the film.”] My friend, who would never read any Christian material I might try to give to her, believes she had history & truth on her side. And it’s what that movie promoted. She feels she has her justification NOT to look into Christianity. And for that, I’m greatly frustrated. By Mr. Hanks and Mr. Howard. But, I do pray for my friend as well as Tom Hanks. He seems like a decent fellow, but if he needs to receive Christ, that’s my ultimate prayer.

She did not believe what the movie was promoting (thankfully); but she wanted to be able to discuss it with those she was witnessing to from an informed perspective. She had attended our church Bible study meetings for years; but unfortunately never renounced her membership in her local Catholic church. I think because she was such a fan of Benny Hinn and other similar preachers on TBN (who were popular at that time), she was placing her faith emphasis on the wrong things. I don't think the movie had a lot to do with that, it was just incidental; but neither was she interested in studying resources about it from a biblical perspective to learn and understand more precisely what was wrong with Brown's teachings at their core.
