Beast of a car. That one I tried to get for you was fun to drive even as a 1 litre through the twisty at Keswick. It’s amazing how well they last compared to something like a Ford of the same era.Japanese quality. You need to do a cheap turbo build like that famous micra build. It will be the corrosion on the inside of the wheels making them go down.
Get it canned Ash! Im in the process of doing my k11 with cans. Trying to prep it at the moment. Basically got a 2nd facelift but changing out the bumpers with 1st facelift cos it looks so much better. Also adding a gx wing and got some rare front fogs going in the bumper. Glad you've got a micra again.
Cheers mate, I'm looking forward to getting stuck into it. I want to try and get some fogs for this one too, makes the front bumper look way better! I've picked up a few bits for it already so should have a few videos up in the coming weeks 😁
The upside to the paint is I know what I'm doing, the wrap will be my first time and I'll be honest I did well not to completely lose my shit when I was just wrapping the headlights on the MX5 😂 It is something I'd like to learn and get better at though
I love the idea of plasti dip but I don't like the finish of it. Like you can pass a good wrap as a paint job but you can tell when something is plasti dipped from a mile off even if it's a good job.
@@LeadFootash23 ah fair enough, i'd love to wrap my FN but i haven't got the patience... can't get those phone screens on without bubbles, let alone a wrap XD.
@@yardspeed13 honestly it took me 3 attempts to wrap the headlights on the MX5 so I'm probably being way too confident 😂 but once I figured out the technique it was pretty easy and I think a lot of car wraps these days have air release systems built in to them so they're a lot harder to get air bubbles in compared to things like cheap headlight tint.
Hi, I'm new to your channel, & learning the Micra. My Dad passed away in January, & left me is 1998 (S Reg) Micra Si. It only has 32k miles from new, so I'm wanting to get it on the road in the meantime. I need to change the expansion bottle (hole in it) & renew the coolant. Also an oil, filter & brake fluid change. It has had the offside rear sill patched a couple of times due to rot (it has a sunroof), is there a way of stopping the water from the sunroof going to the sill? Also the air con needs looking at as it doesn't work.
The expansion tanks are a nice and easy job. You can get them on eBay for about £12, I'll be doing a video on that and a full service in a couple of weeks. As for the sunroof the only real solution is making sure to clean out the drain holes regularly to stop any build up
I will have one in a month or so, depending on what year your k11 is you'll also need the transponder from the key for the ECU to work if your cars is fitted with NATS (Nissan anti theft system)
K11 Micra for sale, last owner was particularly careful
"ONE BIG DIRTY BURNOUTTT"

Love the sunroof
I'd definitely wrap it. If you make a mistake with the cans it's a lot of prep work to start again but wrap you just pull it off and job done. 👍

@@LeadFootash23 Ahhh no worries, if you have experience in spraying then might be worth doing that then. 😊👍
@@TheMoaningYorkshireman whatever I decide I'll probably end up wishing I'd done the opposite. That tends to be what happens 😂
Love the micra content mate , getting my 1st k11 this week plan on a conversion just unsure which one at the moment
Love the Micra videos not big here in New Zealand but I'm building a 1998 march
Could try Plasti-dip spray?
