I just thought I’d rotate back to this since it’s going to be getting cooler soon and I much prefer Antonio over a lot of “fashion gurus”! Have to say my #1 is the pea coat by far. I live in the UK and a couple years ago I thought I’d get one to wear to some celebrations in London since it’s been a favourite on the RMRS channel. I was walking back and noticed that it was so cold frost and ice had built up on the outside without me feeling it! Goes to show that quality advice and quality clothing goes a long way!

I wear a pocket square any time I wear a suit or blazer. However, id never wear one in an overcoat. Not the right place for it.

No on the pocket square. I like that hybrid sport coat. I’m not yet ready to step up to a legit sport coat so I could wear that hybrid as a baby step.
What do you think about the London Fog Khaki zip up coat? (trench coat style) It was passed down from my father which was bought in the early 2000s

I have a leather jacket based off of the 9th Doctor from Doctor Who. It's real nice and most don't know it's from DW. Cosplay and function. Lol.

Ironic this came out now. I just bought two new winter dress overcoats, a beige Cashmere/wool one and a black wool one. The beige one was a previously-owned, only a year or so old, Ralph Lauren I picked up for $70. It had been $500 new! All it needed was dry cleaning and a button re-sewn. Im not normally a fan of Ralph Lauren as I find them ridiculously over-priced for what they offer, but this coat is sharp. The black one is a vintage solid wool and drapes all the way to my mid-shin for those really cold days. Its Super warm! Found it at a Thrift store and as I'm a very large, odd size was a true rare treasure. A dry cleaning and some vodka spray made to get rid of that "used clothes smell" and it was like new. Cost: 45!!!! Damn good deals that will keep me warm, cozy, and looking Stylish! Big Pretty accepts nothing less.

2) what is the difference between fatigue/military/field jackets?

Ok question. I have the issue of being in between a large and medium. Med fits good, but sometimes a bit snug in chest. A large gives me more comfort in chest, but gives me the tented waist look.
My waist is 32... Most larges are 36-38. My chest is 42... Most medium are 38-41.... So I don't know what to do.
Whether or not to wear a pocket square with a Sports Jacket Ribbed Coat hybrid, I say... (suspense).... depends on the occasion. Definitely wear the pocket square if you want to amp up the inherent comical aspect to the jacket. But how about a colorful pair of gloves in that breast pocket, hunter green or merlot? Anyway, pretty funny.

If only 3, then my choice would be: - A quality tailermade peacoat for when formal, navy, black or dark Grey.
- A solid leather jacket in good leather for everyday, like dark brown/red-brown or black and
- A good quality parka for the Scandinavian winter - (love the Canada goose) 💪

Just get a a Hemptailor or Save the Duck parka.
Fur on parkas are a big no- and CD just buy looks ugly with their big fat logo...
depend on how you lived.... I had to go on subway daily so I tend to had alot... don't like dryclean them...
I think that a peacoat shouldn't be a garment to have tailormade. They are best bought second hand because they are heavier than what you normally get for a steal of a price.
Since you are from WI, it's obviously cold. Sport coat/Jean combos look good, but not real warm. Is wearing a winter coat over a blazer appropriate? Seems like it would look odd, plus my leather coat fits nice over a dress shirt or sweater, but over another jacket, it would be too small.

Hey Antonio, great video as always. I'd like some advice. I just bought a nice, navy overcoat that fits my budget, turns out it's only 50% wool with the rest being polyester (it's also lined though). I don't often wear suits/sports jackets so i took one that fit well with just a shirt and sweater. My family loved the look so it's a keeper. However, I Don't think I'll be able to wear it with the 3 piece suit i just ordered. My dad mentioned that you are supposed to swap the suit jacket with the over coat and not wear both at the same time. Have you heard that before or should I have gone for the larger size?
The overcoat goes over the suit jacket. However, if your overcoat is too trim, you may not be able to me wear the suit comfortably under it. In that case, you can always keep it and wear it over your smart casual clothes.

I have a blanket that has a clasp so I can wear it like a cloak. It’s pretty sick and comfortable

I've been looking at getting a new jacket. I have all of my deep cold coats, but I need something that I can wear for those warmer 30 and up days. Right now I've been layering my fur lined leather vest with a hoodie, but I wanted something a little less casual. Got any suggestions for something I can throw a brown leather vest over for those warmer days Antonio?
mutton coat is not a bad choice.. with hidden hoodie in the neck... those are rare to find...I just got so red leather median coat/jacket...not cheap...
