    dammit I spent about $500 + aus for a genuine hd daymaker, for my 14 street bob. Honestly they look identical, from the led configuration at front, to the rear slot and plug set up. Unless there's a difference between the actual leds and hence life expectancy, perhaps all I paid extra for, was the R @ D and the name.

      +Dazza Boof I'm going to pull it and run voltage changes. I don't see any issues, but I want to make sure. It's still fine, and the money I saved can get new bars, grips, passenger pegs, boots.. you get the picture

    @octorandy I did the change of the blinkers from up to down like you recommend, but now my blinkers only work when I push the cables backwards to my tank. Looks like the connector isn’t making good connection. Do you know where the connector is located?

    • @RandyKnights
      @RandyKnights  Рік тому

      You may just be pinching the cable. Check that first.

    Hi,
    I see yours blinkers remain ON when you put power ON with moderate brightness. Do you know how it blinks when you press the right/left indicator button ? Are there two different wires to supply or something ?
    Thanks !

  • @MileHighJohnnyCinco

    That saddle is gorgeous. I have a 2022 48 and am in the market for a new saddle that isn't a tailbone torture device. Do you mind me asking what kind of saddle it is and how comfortable it is?

    • @RandyKnights
      @RandyKnights  2 роки тому

      Remember, it's more about the springs and suspension than the seat itself. I got the seat off eBay, $70. The springs were from Amazon, but I'm only 150lbs. If you're larger, go with 3" springs

      I just searched "solo spring seat" on ebay and Amazon. That is the best way to find it, the look for 1" or 2" springs.

    Which brand of LED headlight did you choose? It would appear to be a brand other than Harley. I don't see the HD script in the center of the headlight. But I could have missed it.

    Hey man.. I have a 2000 sportster 883. I am trying to install a LED daymaker but theres not enough space inside the headlamp housing because of all the wires in there. Any tips on how to make that work?

    • @RandyKnights
      @RandyKnights  7 років тому

      +Wine & Bike & DIY not sure on a 2000, but you kinda have to twist the light in there until you get the proper spacing. Once it's in there, you should be able to get it to the screw holes. Check for direct fitment with you assembly, that may be the key.

    • @winebikediy
      @winebikediy 7 років тому

      It said it would fit a 2000 sportster.. and it Does, but by less than an inch, it wouldn't be in place because of the wiring that is housed in the back..

    • @RandyKnights
      @RandyKnights  7 років тому

      +Wine & Bike & DIY hmm. Have you tried pushing them off to the side, maybe working them around? I know it's a tight fit.
