Coming from a fatherless home,I always get so emotional when these cases come on! I am so happy for her and her Father! No matter what age,A child always want their Dad!
I agree 💯. I was one of those kids But I wasn't in denial. They'll tell you that this other man is your father meanwhile I could hear the not so secret conversations of the truth. My cousin would tease me about my brother's father not being mine to make me cry. When people would ask about "Greg's kids," there was always an awkward moment because they didn't want to say "SHE AIN'T HIS," in front of me. I even got a whooping for saying this man wasn't my father (even though I didn't, my evil ass cousin did and lied.) It's a heavy load carrying that weight. Even if the man chooses to be absent. Tell them the truth. Lying to a child that already has an absent father only adds to the trauma.
