- The plaintiff used to live with the defendant, her ex, while they were together. The plaintiff claims the defendant kicked her out of their place, changed the locks, and stole her furniture, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant argues the plaintiff was emotionally abusive. As far as the furniture goes, the defendant says she told the plaintiff to pick up her things. Besides, most of the furniture belonged to the plaintiff's grandmother, and they bought other pieces together.

The fact that she had the audacity to remove her shoes during this shows how unhinged she is.
I think the real reason why she removed her shoes was because she wanted fight the plaintiff.

The plaintiff was fairly well prepared and presented. Hopefully a lesson learned for her, but obviously not the case for the defendant.

Not everyone needs to be married to live together. My boyfriend and I have been together almost 12 years. Moved in together after ONE month of dating each other. There doesn't need to be flowers, vows, or paperwork to show devotion or love. 😒
And, not that it matters, but I was 19 when we got together and moved in together. So it also doesn't have anything to do with age. Doesn't work for everyone, but it worked for us
