Kevin, do you know there are actually days when I need to: clean the kitchen, the bathroom, the bedroom, the living room, the dining room, the patio, the front patio, etc. etc., where I say to myself: "Well, Kevin would tackle this project calmly, thoughtfully and thoroughly, as though it was the most important task in the world." I know tree needles and evergreen debri are messy, but I just can't bring myself to purchase a plastic, fake tree. I love the smell and look of real trees and decor. I especially appreciate the idea to use spring flowering bulbs to transition through the rest of winter. Thanks!!

I've seen feather wings of varied sizes at Hobby Lobby if you wanted to refurbish your angel doll. Go for a cream color instead of white but I'm sure you already know that.
Hi Kevin. I dont know if you do this already, but every time i have some form of scraps, I put it my freezer. Even onion peels, bits and pieces. It is so wonderful when you are making a soup or some sort of stock. Happy new year to you 😊

After watching your video about chilling bulbs last fall - I bought 5 or 6 different bags of spring bulbs and popped them in my crisper drawer in the refrigerator. Mine should be ready to bring out of the cold next week. I have pots and forcing vases all ready to go for them. The corn bread vegetable bake looks soooo yummy ! I will give her your recipe and video link for her bday. Your Angel wings can be replaced. I was going to make a pair for my Angel and I will be creating the skeleton with a base then carefully gluing each feather in the correct direction. The wings can be harnessed on, or attachment concealed beneath its robes at its waist. I am not sure how yours were attached. I am so sorry this happened. Its not worse than a video yesterday showing a man in despair after his dog ate through $4000 cash sitting on his counter meant to go to a fence restoration he had just done. He had to try to tape what he could together and wait for dog to go do his business so he could try to recuperate what he could. In the end, he lost about $600 in his digestive tract that was gone. Lesson learned- no cash, no bills, no jewelry, no Angels left anywhere a dog can reach! Loved your ornaments!

Great snippets of all your furry lodgers this time! Your various bulbs are looking amazing. What an excellent tip to add near-boiling water to compost in order to rehydrate it. That's a new one on me and yes, I've suffered the problem of beading droplets on top when using cold water. I too was planting up a load of Dutch bulbs for a neighbour yesterday. I was presented with the job on 20th December so none of them had been cold stored. I've a feeling they may come up blind. Not the case for you though. Your upstairs bathroom window is going to look amazing in a few short weeks. All that work and a delicious but simple dinner with wine. Really great visit, as always. Thank you so very much. Your various bulbs are looking amazing. What an excellent tip to add near-boiling water to compost in order to rehydrate it. That's a new one on me and yes, I've suffered the problem of beading droplets on top when using cold water. I too was planting up a load of Dutch bulbs for a neighbour yesterday. I was presented with the job on 20th December so none of them had been cold stored. I've a feeling they may come up blind. Not the case for you though. Your upstairs bathroom window is going to look amazing in a few short weeks.
