It's actually a default of the game.
Sideswipe wasn't originally integrated in this game. So this is why you won't see him in any of the cut scenes. He is just a simple DLC.
Sideswipe teached us never to use brakes
Sideways should've been this mean in the movie (and voiced by John DiMaggio, like he is in the game).
He's voiced by Nolan north not John DiMaggio

I find it extremely stupid that they don't show the character before you start the level and that you don't see Sideswipe at the end on that building...
I Love this game with all it's Cheesy effects. This game is absolutely AMAZING! P.S This was more fun to watch than the movie, It kinda shows some hidden scenes that weren't in the movie! Just Amazing!

@khoa1003 I didn't switch him - Optimus isn't available on this mission. Buying the DLC fills in the gaps with DLC characters though, thus Sideswipe is available.

they changes the story a little bit so people didnt get bored. its boring if u know the story before playing the game

@ShadowStriker53 You really only need to be a devoted player to get up on the leaderboards. Combine that with a little skill and you've got a high-ranking player. ;)

It's a DLC which is only available for PS3, and 360.
Us, PC gamers have to hack the game to get those extra characters : P

Only on select missions, which is true for all dlc characters except Jetfire, he is mp only.
