- Gameplay of Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen online for PS3.
Character: G1 Colors Sideswipe
Special Ability: Blade Strike (shoots his blades)
Sideswipe's mucho fun just to run around as. Transformation is also confusing to watch ( if you weren't aware, the wheels in his feet are from the front of the car, so he sort of goes backwards to transform).
A few people have tried out for Sideswipe's role in TF:RoTF The Game The Movie, but I haven't decided on anyone yet. I'm wondering what voice to use.

I'm very interesting with the transformation. According to this video, the movie and the concept art, the wheels in the front of the car transform to his arms, not the feet.
I agree. As a college student in Game Art & Design, I've been designing TF game like that. Maybe one day Hasbro will let it become reality! :)

@Scatcat279 Were you watching from robot to car or car to robot? It's easier to see at about 1:27 than the first time I transform....But in and of itself it's just confusing to look at, lol.
The game transformation could differ from the toy though.
this version looks better than the real sideswipe (probably cux red's my fave color, but there is more accent to it too)!
@flyinglow1994 Actually, Swerve was just the name of the toy that was released,however the paintjob and headsculpt of the toy was meant to be an homage to the g1 Sideswipe. Add that to the fact that Sideswipe here in the game has the normal sideswipe head, it's most certainly sideswipe. ;]

skating is when u move ur body to roll on your skates or wheels like bonecrusher did/does. when he skated towards prime on the highway he was moving cause he couldnt accelerate the wheels on his feet cause he was to heavy. but when sideswipe advanced towards sideways, he didnt move towards him he was balanced and still cause since his back wheels are on his feet and corvetts r rear wheel drive, he accelerated those wheels so he didnt have to skate.

@NatsumeRyu is he allready unlocked in the xbox 360 version of this game? or do you have to buy a special kind of pack?
@akatsukirules24 There was a red repainted Sides toy in the RoTF toy line called Swerve. That's probably where he got the idea from. I don't know if it ever insinuates it's his brother, however.
@SirKamiloPL In the film. In the original cartoon he was red (and a lambourghini, but hey)
@mattTL It's a team deathmatch, but Jazz is on the other team ("restrict faction" is off).
Run. Just run, and then when he coasts, turn.
I just really can't see sideswipe use his feet as the front wheels of the car. I pretty much slowed the video frame by frame (as good as youtube let's me) and i don't see him switch his feet to the front.

@Scatcat279 he doesnt. he doesnt in the movie either. when he transforms, his front wheels go to his wrists and his upper torso does a 180 like ratchet and his back wheels become his feet. when his torso does a 180, then it makes the back of the car (tail lights) become his armor. in the movie he doesnt skate, but rolls on his feet just like wheelie did when he tried to steal the shard. in the game he only appears to be skating cause its a game that differs from the movie.
@jetjeff5 PC, 360, and PS3 all have the same version f the game ported to each other, so you get the same bots for each. The DLC is not available for PC, however.
@MetroDr Stealth Bumblebee was purchased via the DLC pack.

@MrJericho91 on market place, go to the Transformers RoTF. And select the Charecter + Map pack plus. 800 Microsoft points. You get 11 charecters and 3 new maps i think

I will eventually have all of the DLC characters uploaded, though when I can't say.
Can you be more specific about which map you're referring to? There's one map with a Bridge in Shang'hai, but it's at night. There is also a map with the "museum" in the middle, and a traintrack running through it - perhaps that's what you're referring to? That map is in daylight.

here is a questio if i get dlc does that mean I now have all of those players to chose from incl;uding the old ones like in a dlc only match can i use breakaway or someone like that or do I have to be a dlc character
XD it's better if we don't know. I never know what video I'm going to upload (I record a lot...speaking of which, need to delete some, or put it on a disc or summat...), because i don't always play well enough.

Hah same here. I have a PS3 also and that's mainly what I use to play online, but I prefer the 360 controllers, so I'll be getting Live soon.
@MrMakiller I think some folks still play it. I still get invites every few days. I'm having a hard time connecting toi folks on it though. :(
@N1ckgamekiss Recnently, the company who made this game got closed down. But, from what I heard at least for X-box 360 it still is downloadable.

When you get the DLC he replaces or fills in empty spots on certain mission rosters. :)

Lol I don't mind playing you. It's just, I've been busy with school lately, so most of my game time is used up filming, not fighting. I won't mind playing you when we both get the chance though. :)

I'm curious as to your tactic. Sounds a little like WarriorSideswipe; he killed my team in a match once. Personally I don't know how he stays alive long enough =_=;

No, you have to litterally download it of Playstation Network. It's about £10+ you have to buy the game

@jonathan11799 Yes, not as much as War for Cybertron (which has 600 daily players) but there's still enough to find a game. Just got it today for PS3.

No, different servers. That'd be nice, but I doubt Sony and Microsoft want that kind of compatability. Not with all their competitive-ness.

They aren't unlockables - you must download the DLC. Sorry I can't help with the 360 though :( I know other videos have 360 users though and can help you.
