I'm sorry for not fitting "sore wa chigau yo" in the lyrics somewhere...
Hello everyone! It's been a while since my last solo upload, hasn't it? Well, not to beat around the bush, I present my new cover, Despair!
A little while ago, while drowning in assignments and tests, and while the anime of Dangan Ronpa was still running, I got this burst of inspiration whilst listening to a peculiar arrange of MACARON to write English lyrics for it. But, when I was looking at translations, it didn't particularly make sense if I made translyrics. Afterward, the idea of a mashup between DR and the song came into mind, and I thought, "well, why the hell not?"
So this is what's borne from it! I was going to post this on the day of the final DR episode, but procrastination mixed with other uncontrollable events led this to be posted nearly a week late. However, I'm glad this idea came to be, especially considering I've been hooked on the anime since the first episode! Now if only I could get the game... (At least the anime's due for a second season, so yaaaaaayyyyy)

Surprisingly enough, I had fun animating this. Fun and animating in the same word makes a person look like they're crazy. I apologise for the few kinks you might see here and there in the video. Just keep it a secret to save me from despairing over it.

This song perfectly describes Danganronpa. If anyone asks me what it's about, I'll just have them listen to this. It may not mention all of what goes on in Danganronpa (like how high school students can be the "Ultimate" something), but it does a good job with the concept of the games/anime. Lots of killing, death and despair.

I love the piano at the beginning, for me i think it symbolizes the danganronpa world. The piano is supposed to be played gracefully and beautifully, but some people play it messy and chaotic for the fun and entertainment of it. Like how the world is meant to go towards hope, but junko "plays" the whole world into despair causing it to be "played" messy and chaotic for her own pleasure

So that means the "killed or be killed" part of the song wasn't based on undertale because this was made before undertale ever existed.
