- While recording this phone interview for future ARBuildJunkie articles, we thought it might make for a good audio "podcast." As such, we've uploaded the interview audio on UA-cam.
Over the hour-long conversation on 5-12-21, Kevin Brittingham of Q LLC talks about the growth of his podcast, gives us numerous product updates, details on a new trigger which he says is the "best AR trigger ever developed," new bipod, challenges with the ATF regarding the Honey Badger, new information about 8.6 Blackout, and why you should use a suppressor on your rifle.
We still plan to put out articles with this information, but wanted to give those interested the information in a more timely and immediate manner. A big thanks to Kevin Brittingham for his time, and thanks for listening...
Awesome job and great interview 👏🏻
Best description & Reasons why why anybody would want a silencer I have ever heard!
The 3rd time around for me... cant get enough!
Kevin is the best, fuck all the rest.. He is a genuinely great dude
This was great content. Thanks for the upload.
So barrels for LR308/AR10 not available at first?
Those pierogies looked dank 🤤
I love my AAC m4-2000, sucks about Remington but I will be purchasing some Q stuff going forward for sure
Incredible content, I like the direction Kevin is going in the firearms industry
Thank you for the support!

Just a question: That steel bottom part that we see or should I rather say read about regarding the Sig Fury cartridge, would that be incorporated in your 6.8 BLK for higher pressures especially around subsonic
@kevinb let's get that trade in program for customers that got screwed over with AAC cans sitting at Remington during Bankruptcy that they sent back, broken/unfixed and basically said get bent. 🤓
BEFORE anyone asks, it's not a real thing, yet, but I think as customer service focused as KB and his companies, he was in control of, have been, I keep proposing a program. Maybe even a 2 tier where it's a discount program where if you have the "get bent" papers you get bigger discount (75%) for your traded in broken can and if you have AAC can fail moving forward, you get a 25% discount or something. Just day dreaming over here.😁
Q trades…products for money. PSA owns AAC now.
Great and informative broadcast! Any update on the availability on the 8.6? Thanks for the info!
New ARBuildJunkie article dropped a few days ago on the website
Will a 12.5” 8.6Blk shoot conventional jacketed bullets or is the 1/3 twist too much and disintegrate those in flight. Is a monolithic the only bullets it shoots ?
Incredibly informative
Probably the best Gun company ever!,,,,,,,,
I'm tired of having to deal with the ATF's yoyo regulations and the short 7' barrel. I only wish that a 16" long barrel would be available, for replacing the Honey Badger's 7" barrel.
Q doesn't respond to phone calls and emails.
Q doesn’t respond to anyone unless it’s Instagram bullshit calling out old firearms for their “innovative” products
Sold me on the fix
I don't think a 1-3 twist will work. I'd like to see some outside testing results and data. I would think the 308 would perform better, prove me wrong.
Faxon just started producing 1:3 twist barrels for 8.6, announced at SHOT, FWIW
Yikes imagine being this wrong about something. Hold that L buddy. Hold it tightly.
