In this day and age, if we want to have a crazy time and get our adrenaline rushing, then look no further than roller coasters. Theme parks with the scariest roller coasters they can muster has become one of the biggest money makers in the park industry. If the rides are plentiful, scary, and risky, then it is a guaranteed success. Needless to say, the United States has set the standard for the rest of the world when it comes to thrill rides. Constantly are engineers pushing the limits of safety in order to create the latest and greatest rides. Sometimes injury and death has occurred, but that hasn’t stopped builders and theme park executives to keep pushing the envelope.
Here are the most terrifying rides in the world. These rides will vary in size, height, and location, but they are equally as terrifying. Should you want to try to ride some of these rides, you better be in top-notch health and free of heart conditions, as these rides will surely try to scare you to death.
Make no mistake, these separate the men from the boys, and the brave from the scared. These rides are known for being exceptionally scary, and will put your body through experiences that you never thought possible. They are mentally challenging as you have to pretty much convince yourself to ride them.

The ride I fear is definitely the kiddie ride. With a 3 foot ascent at speeds reaching up to 6 mph, this ride is sure to strike terror in all who ride it.

2:35 $21 Million isn't really expensive for a roller coaster. $17 million is about the average, and the most expensive is at $105 million (Expedition Everest).

I know right!!!! The smiler wasn't even in there and that has the world record for the most loops and in Oakwood where I went on a school trip in primary I rode a ride that went up vertical and went in and out on the drop down with loop the loop and a corkscrew!!!! And that was in Wales!!! 😡

Why is that hard to believe? I used to live 40 minutes from there and went a lot. If you've got an annual pass its a good place to go when you've got nothing else to do. Now i live 300 miles away and haven't been for years -_-

Why is England a weird place for a rollercoaster?! We have had loads of worlds firsts over the years. We have the top 2 most looping rollercoasters in the world 1 being The Smiler at Alton Towers with 14 loops and 2 being Colossus at Thorpe Park which has 10 loops. That's just the mosts. We have the first flying coaster, Galactica at Alton Towers, first dive coaster, oblivion at Alton Towers, the first dedicated VR coaster, which is also Galactica at Alton Towers, the first freefall drop coaster, Th13teen at Alton Towers.
And we have stealth.
Been on all of them #thrill seeker 😜😎

pretty sure Skytrak Total (opened 1998) at the old Granada Studios was the world's first flying coaster. still in England, but get your facts straight, man!
+Zachary Ladely i should probably mention I meant B&M flying coaster, which is the most comfortable and practical out there, as Skytrak Total can only hold 1 person per train and is more like lying down. Also some people have mentioned Vekoma flying coasters, but to me they are just lay down coasters that are inverted, rather than one like B&M, which is probably the best system

One time, I went on a ride where it was also on top of a hotel but it was way scarier because there was a platform, and a pole. Hold on to the pole. Aaaaaaaand that's it. You went in a circle, and each time you went fully around you would speed up. It was in 🇨🇦Canada🇨🇦 and it was a 'Pink Panther' ride but it really had nothing to do with the pink panther. IDK the name of the hotel, but it was near a fair and when your on the ride you can kinda see Niagara Falls.

I've been on Fahrenheit in Hershey Park, it was an amazing experience, i would really recommend it.
X2 is such a fun ride omg. If there's ever a part 2 or a revamp of this list, make sure to include Six Flags Magic Mountain's Full Throttle. It has the biggest loop in the world and is located in Vallejo, CA.

I just was at Las Vegas yesterday and every time we went by, we saw the ride bent over the edge.

I've ridden Fahrenheit , it was amazing. Also took some excellent pics. I'd recommend Hershey Park anytime. Fun chocolate theme, good rides, lotsa coasters
