Fr Mike. My husband and I live in the UK. Through the grace of God I came to know the Lord as my Saviour 45 years ago when I was 30. I am in the Protestant, Non Conformist, tradition but I am in complete agreement with all you bring out of the Bible. I am so grateful to God for a priest like you. God is using you to touch hearts all around the world. We listen to you daily and I feel strengthened and encouraged by your ministry. May God continue to bless, guide and protect you.

We left a Catholic parish that we had been with over 30 years... they rarely read the entire gospel. They found other things to short cut as well. You are right on Father Mike.

I feel exactly the same emotions as you've described after listening to this sermon. I am saying this as a Protestant but, I would also say the same as you about Fr Mike - "God Bless guiding shepherds like him" . The world certainly needs more priests like him. It's wonderful to see that one and a half thousand people have viewed this video.

After Her Husband's death Saint Bridget dedicated Herself to an Ascetic and Contemplative Life. This homily did lift me up. Unfortunately, I cannot understand most of the homily either of the Hispanic priests at my church say so this is a valuable help to me. ( I am 80 and have a hearing deficit and the priests both have heavy accents. They are dear and holy men and I love them both, just don’t know what they are saying?
Yes Father I pray people begin to encourage eachother and stop tearing others down with their mean spirited gossip and slandering of. We should build others up or shut our mouths all together It's so base and if it's Christians doing this we must do better. Our hearts are not ordered rightly if this behavior gives us pleasure
Let priests talk about the "hard parts of the gospel". It's their mission to tell the truth and traditions of Jesus. And without the "hard truth", we won't know how Jesus lived, and how to imitate Him.
