    Had a 370z, sold it and then a year later bought a new one because I missed it so much. Refreshing new vid on the 370Z . Good job!

    Had mine for 2 years, put an nvidia Gemini exhaust on to really let the V6 sing. Brilliant car, seriously quick and rare due to no one buying them which is great for us owners 😀

      I have berk high flow cats and a Gemini exhaust for my 350z. Loud but a clarified sound. Still want it louder tho haha

    I really hope that in the future, you get some serious sponsors, your own race track and just overall make the channel more successful. The quality of your videos don't have to change because I always love the indie style videos you make anyways, but yeah. Great video regardless, but everytime you drive a car, if you leave a good impression about it, I just seem to want to buy one 🤣

      You can't go wrong! I have a 15 and love it! No turbo "bs" to deal with, great mpg, easy to work on, looks smashing and is plenty fast for me (not Tesla ludicrous mode fast, but plenty fast! LOL).

    I just took my 370z to some backroads for the first time last weekend, and I fell in love. It will honestly be really hard to find a viable replacement for it in the future.

    The 370Z was never about luxruy but more on driving dynamics and driver feel. Ive said even before the 370Z went out of production. When its gone is when people are really going to appreciate it.

      Maybe, definitely more comfort focused than it's competition like the z4, s2k, mx5, gt86, boxster

      @@KiwiCarLife The NISMO models are much more "motorsports" focused than the standard models. I'd say they might be a bit closer to cars like the z4 or the MX5 in terms of styling.

    Very good review, and it justified my decision NOT to sell my 2021 370z (yellow auto). I had a deposit on a Nissan Z (2022 manual turbo). Even though the performance looked good on paper, I didn't like the retro design. so I cancelled the order 2 weeks ago but kept wondering did I make the right decision, so watching this made me pretty happy about it. cheers

      Tbh I would have held onto that order... I think the new one looks stunning but fair enough. The 370 is also outstanding

      @@KiwiCarLife If I owned only 1 car, you are definitely right, but I own 5, so I already own 2 turbo manual sports cars, and for some reason, the new Z doesn't resonate for me.

    I love my 40th Anniversary 370z. Beautiful Red, one of a kind interior. They are Great Quick cars.

    Excellent review! How's the road noise? That and the ride are often complained about in reviews but you've addressed the ride quality issue and it sounds like it's pretty decent.

      Yeah I mean the ride is sporty but I personally think it's totally fine. Bit of road noise but again not horrendous

      I have one and replaced the stock Bridgestones with Michelin PS4s and that makes a big difference for road noise, even on the highway.

    It really is a great driver's car. I love mine. You're so right about not being for the "new-to RWD" person. I learned the hard way when I had a 350z.

      My 350z 2007 all stock just bought a month ago on interstate merging car was behind me I must hit the gas to hard it took off like a rocket I was smiling like a kid in a candy store. The Nissan dealer said a older lady had it keep maintenance on schedule garage kept dealer said she probably never opened it up.

    You really gotta get behind a manual Z. So much different, those cars were made to be manual. The autos were just made to make more sales

      The Z34's 6-spd transmission was a nice gearbox, but for me, not a necessity for a fun drive. If the sequential auto with paddle shifters wasn't part of the package, I might agree that the manual would be a prerequisite.

    Great Video really enjoying your channel. Got a few mates watching your stuff. You should really try out the 2008 Skyline 350GT with the VQ35HR. Probably the most affordable sport sedan right now. 0 to 100 in 5.5 stock is very solid

    This will hopefully be my mid-life crisis vehicle. I prefer the shape and style of this car over the new Z (especially with the Nismo kit and other upgrades)... plus, the aftermarket prices are unbeatable in terms of value.

    These things are great. Just a bit heavy for how small they are. Nothing like an Mx5, 86 or S2K but brilliant in their own right.

    I own a z34 40TH ANNO ,In 6 speed manual JDM RHD Google 40th anno and its one of those but rarer as its RHD .I have a 350Z version T also . .in auto ... still a fun toy car, love both

    i want to get a 370z for more of a daily, minus the gas prices do you think its a reliable enough car for that. ive been trying to pick between a 2007-9 350z or a 2013 370z. which do u think would be better?

    Was deciding between a 370z or a 350z, I found the 370Z to be more crampt inside compared to a 350z.

      Basically an identical passenger cell, but the 370Z has a touch more headroom.

      Dude we know nothing about your life situation. If you're single flatting you can really afford to dedicate a big chunk of your income to one of these if you like.
      Also worth looking at the cheaper Skyline Coupes too.

      @@JoshuaKabatay I think it's worth looking at if you like the 370/350z
      It's still a sporty looking coupe with basically the same mechanicals. Just tuned slightly more to comfort. There's also a good community around them where I live since they are a little more affordable.
      You just have to accept that you might be spending double what you do now on fuel. Like I'm on the same income and I recently downsized so that I could still drive as much as a wanted to.
      So you can probably afford one at a stretch but sometimes being in a heap of debt sucks and there are plenty of good stepping stone cars you can get

    VQs at full tilt sound almost exotic. With a nice exhaust they do anyway. I'm bias tho I have a 370. I can understand a bad exhaust ruining it but the exhaust note is great I'd say.
    Engine sound from low to high revs: a meaty sound, into ear rape, into ooooooo, into oh shit that sounds sicc, change gear :D

      Yeah true I suppose. Exhaust definitely makes the biggest difference... I haven't sound a vq I thought sounded decent till this... But it is stock...

    350Z and 370Z are like the Japanese muscle car. Big, brute power, tail happy, good cruiser. Find the character similar to a Mustang which is not my thing so never got on with it.

      Yeah agree the concept is the same as the mustang but I'd argue the execution is a lot more athletic

      Having owned an auto 370 and now from new a 2018 manual nismo they are initially similar.The extra 18 hp makes little difference really.The difference is entirely in th handling.The Nismo is a lot more planted beast.Slight sacrifice in ride quality ,but an overal more sorted,sporty and satisfying car to drive.Factor in the Nismos rarity and more aggresive looks and the Nismo is hands down the winner everyday.

      @@KiwiCarLife 😂 the yanks! There’s probably a few in Oz but, while it’s possible, it’s hard/costly to to get them engineered for ADRs.
      The yanks seem to be able do what they want. Except in California.
      But rules aside, like the RZ-8, it’d be so much better with a V8. Most things are.
      Imho of course.
      Of of the many crazy dreams have, I think a k48 V8 would be just awesome. 🤔
