@@MrBoblobla That's exactly how I feel. I never saw them live but I can't seem to stop crying when watching their videos and hearing Scott's magnificent voice... such powerfully intense and honest emotion eminating from a fellow tortured soul... his brokeness speaks to mine like no other. I hope he found the solace he was seeking, finally safe in a place devoid of fear. 🖤
I wish more than anything I could have shared with him how much pain I've felt and how his music and talent helped me feel like other people felt the same. I'd give anything to have saved him from that terrible night because I feel like he saved my from so many more than that.
2022 and still obsessed with these guys. I still miss Scott every day, and I would seriously give anything to be able to see another Frightened Rabbit concert. RIP Scott 💚
I have become preoccupied with the band myself. The music is timeless in being firmly rooted in British folk tradition while also truly modern in its expressionism, melody, and arrangements.
Sadly I discovered this band quite late on. I instantly connected to their lyrics and sound. It was a sad day for me when I heard the news. I can't imagine how it was for those who had grown with the band from day one.
Kinda sad how this place wasn't overflowing and losing its mind during this set. Rest in Peace to a true legend who wasn't nearly as appreciated in his own time as he should have been.
Frightened Rabbit just goes to show that if you share your darkness, so many people can relate to you for the same reason. There is no need to keep that to yourself and suffer alone.
This brings tears to my eyes. Look at the absolute joy of the fans in attendance. FR fans are the best! This band brought me so much joy - some of the best live performances ever. RIP Scott, you are so loved, you are so missed.
I wish I could share with Scott how big a part his voice and words play in coping with day-to-day life. It speaks to me like no one else, and while I feel sad, it also inspires me to persevere.
I lost track of FR for a while but listened to the albums regularly and then found out what happened to Scott. I've had this video downloaded for a very long time, waiting to watch it. It's both beautiful and devastating to see such an amazing person who spoke so openly about his challenges with mental health be so amazing and know he ultimately lost his battle with depression. I wish I could have told him how much he meant to me and how much his music has helped me when I feel like no one understands how I feel. He understood and wasn't afraid to talk about it. He is irreplaceable and I'll always think about how much he meant to this total stranger.
50:20 "What's your favorite Mumford and Sons song? Mine is none of them." I laughed when I heard this and then Googled "Scott Hutchinson Mumford and Sons" and apparently Scott is not a fan of the band or the fact that so many compare the two.
@@thegoodguy44 he just recognized that they're a shit band, commercial shitpop that just exists to be played on the top 100's. stop being such a baby about it and enjoy the music
Pure art, what id pay for a Frightened Rabbit gig, feel very privileged to have seen them at Glastonbury and the round house. Continue to make tiny changes. You are deeply missed 🙏
Great video, thank you! I saw FR live countless times as well as Scott's solo shows. I had the privilege to meet him too and he was such a humble and genuine man. I listen to his music almost every day and it has helped me through some very dark times. R.I.P Scott ❤️
WOW - that's what one would call an EPIC concert/performance ... there's some lights that shine at least twice as bright but (sadly will do so) only half as long - RIP thanks for sharing/uploading this!
Cannot forget this great band - absolutely loved them I took my son to see them in Melbourne - 3 months later - Scot decided he could.nt live anymore in this fucked up material world .. love Frightened Rabbit forever.....
i bugged scott after the boston midnight organ fight anniversary show and ended up going to a couple bars with the bands after. scott was tired and didn't go, made perfect sense because the set and the vibe in the crowd was just...the sweaty catharsis you see in early photos of the band was all through the crowd and everyone. exhausting show. a few months later he was gone and i've never been happier to have dropped over $200 on an uber home.
It’s sublime. I don’t know how and what rock I was under, but I’ve only just discovered FR and after watching them performing this version of Things about a thousand times in a row, I looked them up all excited to see when they might be touring Australia next only to find out what happened. What a loss. But what a legacy. I can’t help but to think he was sent here to be a window into something higher. He channeled the divine.
Love Scott´s reaction to the ned chant at 24 minutes - must we fucking go? Such an annoying ned chant that knowing Scott, he would have found grating as demonstrated in his subsequent grunt.

Calum Langdale legend thanks.
Thanks for posting the set, respect due
Outstanding set. Blessed to watch this.
Thank you for this Calum.
Just came to hang out with Scott for a bit ❤
Everytime i am in Glasgow i go to the bench dedicated to him and hang out with him for a bit while listening to the oil slick and thats therapeutic af
What I wouldn’t give to find him on that horrible night and say, Hey, You saved my life....May I save you now?
Omg, your comment made me cry.
Fuck brother this did me in. I hope Scott knew before he left us how much he had changed for the better. Keep fighting the good fight
Never met him but I miss him

Almost 2025. Same. 💔

I will never get over this man
I hope I don't either. Living in Colour, by example, is ultimately life-affirming.

Fav band. Was fortunate to see them twice. Each time he gave it his all. Treasure to my soul
From the heart.
Greatest song writer to live.
RIP Scott, changed my life more than you'll ever know. Be at peace.
Will forever have his words tattooed on my right thigh, make tiny changes everyone
Sitting at work, trying to write emails with this on in the background and it's frickin choking me up, FR speak to me like no other band
I love you Scott.
RIP Scott - you changed the world more than you know
Scott, you got me through so many deaths, but yours, yours will never lessen.
I wish I could share with Scott how big a part his voice and words play in coping with day-to-day life. It speaks to me like no one else, and while I feel sad, it also inspires me to persevere.
Like no one else. Most moving band I''ve heard since Husker Du.
I must have watched this video a hundred times and it never fails to blow me away. Still can't believe he's gone 😞
I wish i was sober. Personal favourite just now.
I'm seeing this and all I can think of is we lost a wonderfully delicate person last year.
RIP Scott.

Yeah, because Frightened Rabbit is Scottish. That would irritate the shit outa me too.
Kinda sucks that Scott felt he needed to disrespect another band. Weird that someone as talented as him would need to stoop low like that.

Modern Leper is outstanding. So sad Scott isn't with us anymore. RIP.X
Anyone with self destructive tendencies (depression, addiction etc) will relate to that lyrical masterpiece
That 'Keep Yourself Warm' performance is mind blowing. Saw these guys twice, wish it was more...
I think this is one of the best sets they've played. Not only that, the mix was studio-quality and the crowd was feeling it. Bliss.
Yours is a good analysis. Wonderful lightning too.
Those are some of the best crafted indie songs in one set. Truely amazed every time I hear this set.

Best performance of Keep Yourself Warm there’s ever been
Damn, they were a great live band!
I listen to this almost everyday. He's still my favorite
i love this very much!! Thank you for posting. It's beautiful.
That guy at 21:32 is what every band should live for. I've been that person at plenty of shows.
That makes sense as Living In Colour is a one-of-a-kind song. It is like a Scottish sea chantey made into modern rock. Timeless and brilliant.

Many thanks for uploading this, such a great band especially live, I love Scott's voice, the Scottish.
R.I.P SCOTT ❣❣❣
Scott man😢😢😢
So so good, such a loss, RIP Scott
Best version of "things" I've seen
Completely agree, first time I saw this Things was the biggest standout
I think this is there best performance ive seen! I reckon they could of changed a few songs around but performance-wise amazing
Think the stripped back version with the Rogue Orchestra is my personal fave.
Love Scott’s absolutely chuffed look after he nails the final vocal.
It's tremendous pal but......🙌checkout the live version from the roundhouse🙌it's fuckin incredible👍
Thanks man, been looking for this for a long time. RIP Scott.

It’s great - as expected.
Personal fave is the stripped down version with the Rogue Orchestra though.

A fan yells " Love you Scott " right before the song The Woodpile around 1:01.
31:33 I always have to stop whatever I’m doing when this starts to build. Favorite song possibly ever.
23:27 Grant takes the vocal lead. Love it.
RIP Scott😔
What a show that was, crazy the amount of people I recognise in the crowd too.
thanks for the upload!
There's a tunnel to crawl through...
So, so fucking good.
There is love... Yes, misery love you. *ugh* makes my heart hurt with relateability.
RIP Scott.
RIP Scott
fuck...wish he'd stayed x
Miss you Scott
Things.
Really Ace band, wish id discovered them earlier.
all i need is a hand to get me out again
😢😢
Have they ever performed Still Want To Be Here live?
Love Scott´s reaction to the ned chant at 24 minutes - must we fucking go? Such an annoying ned chant that knowing Scott, he would have found grating as demonstrated in his subsequent grunt.
What's a ned chant?
i relate to 21:32
who is playing the bass in old old fashioned?
Well hello what's happening
Andy Monaghan looks like an off brand Kevin Sheilds with glasses
Please people... get help instead of choosing suicide.
Favorite band decides death now favorite band is a tomb
Yeah ... I wish he had gotten help instead of choosing death.
Is every comment here about the guy's death?
Right, if life is the thing, Scott Hutchison did it well.
Good point. Life is the thing.
RIP Scott
