Man the black on the 2SS looks amazing, i couldn't help myself.
You did this car exactly how it should be. That wheel/tire combo is fire. I don’t see many people that do a car exactly the way I would do it but this is it. Even the diffuser and I hate most aftermarket diffusers but that one you got is definitely a step up from the plain factory one and it’s not crazy looking like some of these other cars I’ve seen. Team BORLA all the way. Got the ataks on my pp2 mustang GT.

Nice tasteful mods...I'm running a 285/35/20 up front and a 305/35/20 in the rear.
I wish I can have one, I have enough, but since I’m 21 insurance companies like to take advantage of that charge me arm and leg, even though I’m a fantastic driver with a clear history and have driven manual and crazy cars in the past

Just got my 22 2SS all blacked out from factory like yours, upgraded brakes, suspension and exhaust. Absolutely love the car! Thinking of wrapping it though because the black paint is going to be a pain to keep clean and swirl free. Any thoughts with how you've handled your cars paint up keep? Should I just spend every weekend buffing the car to appease my OCD or should I go satin black and wrap the sucker?

That’s awesome congrats, I’ll tell u what after dealing with black for a year now, I never will own a black car again lol it’s a nightmare can’t go on one drive without it getting supper messed up. I got my all paint corrected and then had it ceramic coated. Does make it extremely easy to clean and does protect it but still dirty. I think a matte black or satin black would be sick!

@@everythingspeed6.2 I agree with you but the ceramic coating protects the car and so just like someone above said the OCD you add plus at 6 months Im still in love with my black on black = cleaning my car everyday is easy for me....it doesnt really matter what color is your car= if you like it glossy,shiny and clean then you will be cleaning your car every single time you go anywhere....I work from home so I visit my car 10 times a day lmao
How much was it?
I got the same whip, same color, but I didn’t get the front splitter or the side skirts, but I did get the Borla Atak’s definitely made it a beast but yours sound good too just a milder tone.
Agreed, it took me months to decide I think regardless it sounds great but I should have gotten the atak
@Smurf Mafia flowmasters has a chamber box filled will fiberglass its sounds good at first but the more that glass cracks from the popping it starts sounding like trucks with pipes, Ataks, are more aggressive and more like tubes instead of the box which is more old school but whatever works.
love it...Just got my 2ss a month ago and still smiling ear to ear lol. If anyone getting one 2ss is the way to goooooo. did you paint calipers? and will you get a ticket for no front Lic plate? Im so annoyed had to do this and see yours without one.
Thanks dude! Feel the same way about mine, calipers came red from the factory, and technically yes no front license plate in my state would get you a ticket however I’ve noticed the nicer the car the least likely a cop will mess with you about things like that.
I got my black 2SS few months ago and Cali requires front and back but I've never had a front license plate and Def the nicer the car is cops leave it alone.

I think you can do better might be the right price in your area, I would join a Camaro group on Facebook and you can see who’s selling what all around in different states get yourself the best deal

This build far exceeds the 1LE. This is closer to the ZL1 than the 1LE.

Looks good but 1LE has better brakes, ELSD, slightly lower, wrapped hood, blade spoiler, and etc.

As a NE guy, wanted a Camaro forever, how well does it drive in some snow? I know it has the snow and ice mode but I don’t want to risk not being able to drive it as much as u want

@@la7775 I agree that seems odd and would annoy me too, chemical guys makes a interior detailer, use a scrub pad and cleaner and try to clean it more often maybe the oils from your hands are affecting the leather causing it to have issues
It has nothing to do with oils but you should get a sun shield for your front windows so that your steering wheel dot get sun damage cause the sun melts it making it shiny and your hand rubbing on it

Thanks dude, adding the borla cat back gave it a good sound but doing the headers really made the car come to life.

Pretty much, zl1 on a budget lol, suspension is different but other then the factory supercharger it’s pretty close

15% all around, in the direct sun u can still kinda see through but not really if I were gonna re tint I would go darker to either 5 or 10%

@@Seba_305 I’ve been asked that before, I’ve owned 3 cars with tint since 2018, in my area I’ve been stopped one time. In my opinion the only reason cops pull people over with tint is because they are looking for the bigger score, drugs, alcohol etc. I can’t say you won’t but I haven’t had a problem
What does the headers do ?
They flow from the engine back to the mid pipe they are designed for major performance increase, way louder sound and built to handle future power modifications

I want to get a Camaro but I’m so confused as to the manual or auto
My opinion is all depending on what your looking for, manual is definitely more of a driving experience makes you feel like your actually driving the car, auto is more relaxed and smoother and less of a “hassle” at the end of the day do what makes you happy!
I'd also say if it's a daily driver or weekend car. Want more fuel efficient, especially with these gas prices! My 2ss is A10 and I've been having a blast with it. Love holding down the paddle shifter on the freeway and dropping from gear 10 to 4 blasting off!
If you daily the car get the A10. Unless you have another car for daily, then grab the Manual.
