Ants Took My Eyeball is a 2D action platformer roguelite. Descend in to an ever-changing ant hill, fight your way through hordes of insects with a variety of weapons, face formidable bosses and ultimately find your stolen eyeball.

Hey thank you so much for playing our game, it means a lot to us! I'm glad that you liked it, and wow, congratulations on beating the demo on your first try! As you could already tell, we have definitely drawn a lot of inspiration from games like Celeste, Vagante and Risk of Rain. We'll definitely look into adding more lights to the darker areas, right now the glow shroom generation code seems to be busted. And melee weapons are unfortunately not upgradeable in the demo, we had to cut corners somewhere. This will be fixed in the final release!

Terrain generation in this game is awesome, they did such a good job of making it feel like ant tunnels
my favorite part of this game is how cool the maxed out upgraded weapons are. the starter gun needs to be upgraded more than the other guns to max it out but it basically turns into the most overpowered weapon in the game by getting explosive bullets with a huge explosion radius.

I strongly reccomend checking back in on Another Farm Roguelike! It got updated plenty, maybe check out hardmode too! I loved your first video and love the brain dead chill vibes that game gives.

As a far as the brightness goes, it does feel a little dark, but I'm getting a Metroivania feel from it.
Like maybe one of the metaprogress options will be night vision or there'll be a class of trinkets dealing with it.
