Love what you do and I would like to say also that l still watch the 1996 Doctor Who movie all these years later. I have been a fan since 1974 and would sell my soul to make a Doctor Who movie

Phil, you did a great job on the tug. It is a wonderful ugly duckling and that is great for world building in a movie. 🖖🖖🖖You always emphasize to have fun while building and thank you for that. Getting all caught up "in the weeds" about details/things should not ruin one's hobby. Have a great day!

Great job! you beat some life into that little tug. I like what you added to the cockpit. Still no way to get in or out of it, but that's what transporters are for.

That bugged me to Lou how the hell do they get in.

Are those not hatches (port and starboard) between the big ventral number 5 and the tractor beam emitter? Obviously they're decals but they look like they have hinge detail on them, or they do to me

I really like the look of that tug. You did a fine job on a kit that was definitely not a "shake and bake." I'm glad you don't have a problem with departing from canon, too.

A fine craft emerges from your hands into the Segal Shipyards.
From part one I was wondering if this would emerge as good as it has, your hands are truly model munching machines...
Right, onwards to your Enterprise D 👍

Monster House was always a favorite of mine! I think it lives somewhere in my subconscious as a dream scenario… one of those things dreamers dream of. 🤓🤔😊

Great build, changing the pilots made it look so much better. I got the Concept Shuttle from Cozmic Scale Models at the weekend, looking forward to building it.

Phil the tug looks really good nice job.
Phil try a portable battery pack charger and use 9V rechargeable batteries instead.

Great job, Phil. It looks pretty good for an ugly duckling. Remember the story about the ugly duckling? It turned into a beautiful swan.

    Awesome job!
Gotta admit, sometimes when I want a section in silver, I really just use aluminium tape flattened with a toothpick and then move on to the next detail.

Thank you, my resinated chum! I think one of my points was that this was relatively huge considering it's place in the ranking and all that. If you like Trek. can't get enough then this is made for you. "Ugly duckling"-- ! Nah-- looks pretty good to me. The control cabin is also a racket court. Plenty of room for luggage and supercargo...
Tip: Those fins to the rear are pretty good but you should try next time to use spacers. I stunned that they are loose! An invitation to an attack of nerves. You can guess spacing with something "found" and line up as many as you need-- with uneven ones to either side of center for symmetry. OR measure and stack styrene strip to the needed dimension. I use a caliper for accuracy. Either way works good!
For garage decals I would recommend an overspray of Testors decal coat. Helps a lot and toughens them up. But, yes testing is a good thing.
I am surprised that TimeSlip went with the Load Masters from some cargo plane that the model shop used back in the day. That giant crash helmet is not Federation issue.
But the overall ship is nice.

Still find it strange there is no door into the cockpit, but then come to think of it I am not sure I saw a door for entering the tug itself. Maybe the glass raises up like on a fighter and you enter that way. Anyways it looks great.

Military modelers have been embracing “unusual” subjects like WWI armored cars the last few years which you didn’t used to be able to buy kits for.
The tug is that kind of subject not for its age in context but because it’s kind of a background character among Star Trek space vehicles. For me it’s right up there with the Workbee in under appreciated Star Trek ships.
I almost stopped watching when you changed the engine exhaust lighting but then I thought that there have to be different classes of tugs which may all have the same general conformation but different towing capacities just like in the real world of tugboats, so your choice is easily justified even if you didn’t think of that particular reason.
That kit looks to be like a lot of resin kits that appear to actively resist being assembled. You have every right to celebrate defeating it. 😅
