Do you mind making a video on texturing, I can't seem to find where I can select certain parts of the sword to be certain materials instead of everything being the same material.

So you need to add a second material to your object with the little plus icon on the right of the materials pane, then you can select the faces you want to add it to, and select 'assign' just under where your materials are

Hey at 0:32 , in my case when I select the edges and size them the middle sword part is also changes its size. Its like they are linking the middle gap and wont let me edit the edges I select only. What do I do?

Do you have proportional editing on? Try pressing O to toggle it

I like to use blenderkit for free textures - for this one I imported a basic steel material for the blade, and a leather material for the handle.

This is not for beginner. Most of instruction is skipped.

maybe its just me, but you moved way to quick dude. when you hit key binds at bare minimum at least say "hey im hitting this key and this key" yk? otherwise great tutorial, just wish i didnt have to google every other action you made.

I appreciate the feedback and I've heard this from others, so I've taken this on board and I'll go at a bit of a slower pace in my future videos. Hope you found it useful either way!

You explain a lot of complicated things and do not say what the abbreviations are. I hope you will understand us more in the upcoming videos and tell us the abbreviations that you do.

Thanks for highlighting this! I'll try to make sure I slow it down a bit and talk about keyboard shortcuts in future videos 😊

if it helps, I've been following his tutorials the last few days, and while saying them out loud is definitely more helpful, you can see in the lower left that it tracks what keys he's pressing! I've been matching up the video with that segment to better understand what he's doing while I work alongside him :D
