Great stuff Mark, I still like the Laser for cutting, I not as skilled as you. I like the Bending tool. 👍🏻

Even if I could use the computer to do the programming (no chance 😊) I would not have the room. 😊

Nice video - I learned several useful tips.
Those Z-bend pliers look great, but I think you lined your mark up on the wrong crown, which is why the pushrod ended up short.

I have a piece of dowel, shaped at the end like a thick screwdriver - insert between the blades of the clevis, turn through 90 degrees to hold it open. It makes clevis fitting and adjustment much easier.

Mark great wing servo mounting. I need a Z bend tool. I have been using pliers for the Z bends, I’ve gotten good results but I’m ready for a surer method😊😅 Jeff in LA USA

Hi Mark, nice work, looking really good. My workspace looks alot worse than yours 🙃

Well done. Back in the day most all ailerons used a central servo and horn. I really like putting the servos in the wings, even though most plans don’t call for this type or installation, calls for some modifications along the way. BTW, what’s the deal with using inches, I thought all you blokes used metric…lol

I think that two servos offer more flexibility than one.
Inches, metric I use both to be honest comes from my model engineering days.

I completely agree about the ailerons. Allows for micro adjustments from the radio without having to do mechanical adjustments. Much better system.

Do small aircraft fly using such servo's, by now? Or is it still push/pull bars and rockers at the corners? You'd say, if you do some redundancy, all planes could have computer network cables. RC is beautiful, the engineering challenge is exactly the same as in a plane with a pilot. I know somebody who built an RC tow plane, that has trims on everything you like. He say it flies great.

That ('rockers') is what he was talking about when he said the plans called for 'bell cranks'. Most people now use two servos because they're much cheaper than they used to be and the added redundancy might save the model if a servo fails. Plus you can trim them electronically or even use them as flaps as well as ailerons.
