I wanted to say thank you for this video and information. I ended up watching it at least 4 times and I studied other videos, the study guides and practice tests over the period of about a month. Today I took my knowledge test and I passed with a 92%.
I purchased this and I knew zero about the drone test. I studied for 2 weeks with this software and videos and yesterday I passed with 83%. Very Happy. Thanks.
I'm a 107 cert that has to take their test again in December. I passed the first time with your training and I will look for you for my retest. You definitely know how to transfer knowledge. Good Job Guys!
Thanks for this! I normally have issues taking tests but watching this and reading Part 107 study guide has given me a bunch of confidence and I can't thank you enough!
EXCELLENT video!! I took ground school back in 2004 and have forgotten much of this. These videos are a great refresher and have me feeling very confident
Thank you for taking the time to make this. What a blessing you are to others trying to pass this test. Best wishes to you, my friend, and again thank you.
I found the Remote Pilot 101 extremely helpful and informative. I think they have done a great job to address questions as well as they have been very responsive to my needs and questions. Although we may not agree with the FAA and their line of questions, it is what it is and we study and train to their standard or we don't get the opportunity to fly a commercial sUAS operation.
Thanks for your help Jason! Tons of sectional chart questions on my test, but I passed yesterday thanks to you stressing the importance of learning this stuff.
Thank you so much! Im about to go take my test, and Ive been stressing hard until i watched this! You explained things really well! And just a side note... You sound like David Schwimmer. Kinda cool to have Ross Gellar teach you about weather patterns!
Really enjoyed this! You guided me step by step in what to learn ! I paused you and learned everything as your video went on. Thanks brother! Im gonna keep studying!
What is the down side for FAA rated Commercial / CFI holders once they get the 107. What risk is there for the Commercial and CFI to revoked if you make a mistake with the 107 Ticket. Let us know 101 or point us to where we can find this info
Yes it can be, all five of these questions may appear on the test. However they may not, the test is derived from a database of over 300 questions. You will only have 60.
This video is helpful. It does infuriate me though this kind of knowledge is on a test for drone pilots. I've been flying as a hobbyist for nearly 3 years with hundreds of flights. The majority of irrelevant part 107 test questions are like asking about detailed road building/construction questions on a drivers license test. The fact that hobbyist don't have to take this test but commercial does is proof it's about government money not safety.
Can someone educated me as to what relevance airport classification or complicated weather advisory have to with flying a tiny drone that nobody flies in bad weather and doesn't need an airport to land?
great video as I prepare as I want to take the Part 107. You say the license is for life - are there additional re-certifications needed? Like every so many years you have to take a refresher course in order to keep your license? Thank you.
Wait a second... so when looking at sectional charts... sometimes an airport will have multiple rings indicating different airspace. So when an airport has a 2 solid magenta rings but also has a dashed blue ring.... how do you know which airspace takes precedent?
ARe yu serious with the invisible mouse pointer? How can anyone see that and follow you on the charts..... i.e. i still cant figure out where 47 degress N is on that first map..??
Great video. Thank you. If all I am doing with my drone is going up over houses inspecting roofs, usually much less than 100ft, can I do that in D airspace about 2 miles from the actual runway?
Thanks for the video, I just want to politely say that you repeat yourself a lot and if you got to the point it would take much less time. And the second half was mostly advertising but it's your video and I respect that. Happy Trails
how often do you live stream id ve intrested in a live interactive conversation with commercial use im a hobbist who just just a very good toy quality drone that my next one has to be hobby, i might even build it. but at the moment im really intrested in flying for commercial use
Other than being able to make money, what other advantages of having lliscense versus not? All I am seeing is disadvantage - flying under special model aircraft you can fly at night while under 107 you cant. That's Sounds like the FAA is punish the guy who is liscense versus the guy who just flying for hobby. https.gov/uas/getting_started/model_aircraft/
This is an advertisement disguised as a ‘practice test’. The actual lessons beging at 7 min., and end at 34 min. It covers good topics but they are just seven (7) questions. The rest of the ONE HOUR & FIVE MINUTES of this video has no other practice test exercises. I expected better from RemotePilot.
I got all your questions right w/o guessing. I've been watching/studying from UA-cam for a couple weeks. I know there's areas I need more work. Do you have a promo code to get the $99. deal
instead of three six zero, why not just reference it as degrees? 360 is north... 180 is south... 270 would be west... ect. Seems needlessly confusing to say one eight zero to two seven zero.

I have now taken and passed his course. This is highly recommended. Clear, concise and well organized from a young FAA certified instructor.
did you pass only base on remotepilot101 material?
Muuuu

So happy I can bring a magnifying glass! My eyesight is not what it used to be and those damn charts kill my eyes!!!!
The first half of the video is great, the second half, a commercial.
Michael Dalton so 50% less commercial than his other videos. 😂

Finally. A video that actually teaches you something.

How did you do?
EXCELLENT video!! I took ground school back in 2004 and have forgotten much of this. These videos are a great refresher and have me feeling very confident

Hey, Jason! Took your course and taking my test in 8 days. Thank you for making it so simple to understand!
Thank you for taking the time to make this. What a blessing you are to others trying to pass this test. Best wishes to you, my friend, and again thank you.
Thanks for the the great course passed with an 80 found the test to be harder than expected but I passed that’s the main thing!

Thank you for such a great course with articulate explanations!
Just wanted to say thanks for a great introduction to 107 class waiting fund to sign upJoe
Jason is remarkable.
Great information! Thank you!
there are 5 hazardous attitudes, invulnerability is not on your practice question.
Is that on the test? How would you define that? Like what would be an example?
Yes it can be, all five of these questions may appear on the test. However they may not, the test is derived from a database of over 300 questions. You will only have 60.
The video shows the example questions.
Gotcha. good to know. It's just I'm prepping for the test and want to know as much as possible for the test.

Its a great course well worth it
Just came across your webinar today March 5th, can I still sign up for $99?
Can someone educated me as to what relevance airport classification or complicated weather advisory have to with flying a tiny drone that nobody flies in bad weather and doesn't need an airport to land?
Probably they do not know ... Lenin's Useful Idiots
Because government, that's why.
Because you are sharing the air space with shit that flies.
Many laws are fucking dumb... but many are important too...
this was a great video. I like you teaching stylelook forward to becoming a student
great I just shared the hell out of this on some Facebook groups
Hi, looks like i just missed the special price, is there any way i can still do the course for $99?
T

When you’re only a 101 recreational pilot, but want to get your part 107 certificate because you’re an aviation enthusiast...
At 10:30 you state standard pressure is 2992 millibars, when it's 1013.25 millibars, so what is the unit for the A value? 29.92 inches of mercury?
great video as I prepare as I want to take the Part 107. You say the license is for life - are there additional re-certifications needed? Like every so many years you have to take a refresher course in order to keep your license? Thank you.
Got a 90%, nuff said !

You say there are no electronic devices allowed, but is the electronic E6B an exception?
Jason you are perfect.
great video!! I just signed-up for training on your website!
Can you make a video on how to communicate with an ATC prior conducting UA operations?
Great video. Thank you. If all I am doing with my drone is going up over houses inspecting roofs, usually much less than 100ft, can I do that in D airspace about 2 miles from the actual runway?
the correct answer to the question... "yes"
Excellent info. Thank you.
Very good video!

Don't METARs and TAFs use TRUE directionals? You said MAGNETIC at 9:45.
James Orlowski ~> Yes, True is the answer, not magnetic.
i could also do without the names and also the sectional chart look horrible
Im shade blind so it wasnt a factor lol For the class c airspace either lol
