Great! When I talk about Match Photo at 3D Basecamp I won’t have to spend a lot of time on this trick. I can just touch on it and tell everyone to watch this video for a full explanation.
Thanks. :) This will save a lot of time when I show customers different design ideas in situ perspective. With this method I can turn on/off different models in layers in different scenes with the same foreground and background. :)
Unbelievable! Thanks you so much for this video. I’m always learning new things with SketchUp and this by far has been the best new thing I’ve learnt in a while. Definitely going to experiment with this technique. Is there a skill builder video on using match photo to get a similar output?
Clear and useful tutorial. Thank you! Eric, it's good that you started creating tutorials to publish on UA-cam channel. I hope you will make one with designing of a garden (paths, furniture, plants, trees, swimming pool, pond, etc...) and then prepare it in Layout for print. TIA! -- mihai
Under Styles/Edit/Watermark section, uncheck 'Display Watermarks'. You could save two different styles, one with watermark on, and one with it off. Save both of those to a scene and you can quickly switch back and forth.
What different ways have you used watermarks?

That's a great more advanced type Skill Builder
I like when y'all get into those obscure corners of the program.
Thanks. :)

I’ve used watermarks often but never thought to layer them! Thanks so much for this skill builder video this is so useful.
This is much quicker than modelling the whole environment! Could you extend this to different viewpoints if you had more reference images?
Nice on Eric, that was really cool
Didn’t know I could do that in SketchUp. Thanks!
BROTHER, YOU ARE THE BEST!!! You oooh really helped me!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Thanks Eric, that was new to me
do you have any tips for positioning the model so that it appears to be in the right location in the environment created by the watermark images
Clear and useful tutorial. Thank you!

@Eric S, thank you! Whichever option you choose, you will create a useful and probably sought-after tutorial.
