Yeah, mostly small stuff. The chrome on the dash and steering wheel shines in your face when sunlight is wrong…tinting the moonroof helped a lot and I plan to do the side windows too. Took a week to get the 3yr OnStar data plan set up, didn’t have full routing to fast chargers etc until that was done. 24” wheels ride way better than I expected, with air suspension it’s better than the AT4 I thought I wanted, and better than the Silverado EV RST as well…but I might drop down to 22” or 20” for more off road capability and better tire selection. I punctured a tire on a nail through the sidewall…and got a replacement in 2 days but the Michelins are literally the only option right now. The air ride height adjustment is a little slow, but I don’t really have anything for comparison. No apple CarPlay but I’m not someone who cares about that. The tonneau cover is better than nothing, but flaps around and is noisy so I usually drive rolled up. Long term a NACS inlet would be more ideal, but for right now being able to use EA or GM energy sites at 350kw without an adapter is nice.
Awesome, man. Congrats! I wish they hadn't borrowed so many Avalanche design aspects. I also wish it had NACS. Still having CCS2 makes it feel like it's already outdated. Can't wait to see the HD versions of these trucks.

I have the Silverado RST - the short answer is likely some of the time, it's the driving in traffic that really sees the range increase. Straight steady highway on a flat road without traffic at 62 mph - not likely most of the time. EV mileage efficiency behaves differently than ICE. BTW these are great trucks that GM has produced. Never going back to the old duramax I just sold.
Keep telling yourself that. 2023 electric car sales increased by 35% year-on-year, reaching over 10 million worldwide. This is more than six times higher than in 2018. Electric cars accounted for around 18% of all cars sold in 2023, up from 14% in 2022. US saw 40% increase.
@@mauryrauch626 Owned mine for two months. Been to the dealership 5 times thus far. 1st time truck was completely dead. Second time the wipers didn’t work. 3rd time, the screen didn’t respond to inputs. 4th time, a power/acceleration issue. 5th time, same wiper issue again. I know you’re probably thinking “That won’t happen to me” All I can say is, look at forums and plenty of others have the same issues. This morning, when I ran to the store, the screen was unresponsive on the drive home and the driver side window wouldn’t not go back up.. So I just made an appointment for service on my phone. The amount of my time that I’ve lost, there’s no excuse for that.

I’ve had my Sierra EV for about 6 weeks, just turned over 4000 miles. This is my first EV. It’s so good, I’d be so sad if I had to go back to a V8.
Any cons of the truck?

Looking forward to future videos on this, I'm thinking about making it my next purchase
One thing you should know is there is an adapter for that mobile charger that allows you to use the mobile charger to charge another ev.
@@ryansherman4556 thank you for the info!

When are these coming to Canada!??
In 1 year it will be half price. From $100k to $50k in 12 months.
Will it get 500 miles of range if you drive 62 mph? 😮
Probably

Junk
Yeah, well thin crust is the worst kind of pizza so we already know your taste is questionable...
For his sake I hope not…
@@Icayn It’s junk. Plain and simple.
Please support your statement. I was thinking of buying one and would like to know what specifically is junk about this truck?
