@@xkmmx2132 Saying he hasn't thrown for over 300 yards in a game doesn't provide context. Lefleur's system relied less on Rodgers throwing the ball and actually having a run game. As someone stated you said he declined yet he won 2/3 MVP's. A down season for Rodgers last year are good ones for other QB's. His o-line wasn't even all that great to protect him because they were plagued with injuries, Bak the starting left tackle had a torn ACL.

On both sides of the ball, the Jets have arguably the most talented roster in the AFC east. Especially on defense. They excel at the two things you need to excel that to shut down the passing game, which is they can rush the passer, and they can cover. The Jets were the only team in the AFC last year to have an all pro at each level of the defense. Quinnen Williams, CJ Mosley, and Gardner.
Ppl must have already forgot, how rodgers treated his young wr's last year, by basically blaming them for everything then not throwin to them, watch how fast the Jets crumble if they lose first few games, the real rodgers will come out and start pointing fingers and blaming everyone... Bet on that

Those 4 games in 2021 that he didnt pass for over 300 years. Aaron had a 74% completion percentage, with 10TDs and 0 ints. Green Bay averaged 31 points in those 4 games.

@GODfaV , yea I just told you the stats for those games in 2021. They scored 31, 24, and 37 points in all wins. The loss they had GB scored 30 points but gave up 37. If he threw 50 passes he would have had 300 yards but he didn't need too.

Can't always blame him. Against Brady and the Bucs in the NFC Championship Rodgers completely outplayed Brady. Rodgers threw for 346 yards and 3 TDs. Can't blame Rodgers that the Packers have hade mediocre-bad defenses every year over the last decade.

In fairness, it's NOT the Jets and it's NOT New York that's going overboard. It's you talking heads in the media that's going overboard about Jets winning the superbowl on paper based on the Jets roster.
Even if the Jets get the regular season Aaron Rodgers from two years ago, I have zero faith in them come playoff time because Rodgers has consistently gagged in the postseason for years. Rodgers was the best quarterback in the NFC on one of the better teams in the conference for the better part of a decade and routinely came up short when it mattered most. Why should I expect him to change now that he's in the much tougher conference and might not even be the second best team in his own division?
And its the NFC... put Burrow or Allen in the NFC, lets see what happens

But this is what they do...they always proclaim that their new QB is the savior that will take them to the Super Bowl. They've done it with Zach Wilson (massive project), Sam Darnold (underachiever in college) and Mark Sanchez (lacked experience in college). And now they're doing it with Aaron Rogers.
If Mahomes was on the Jets Nick would have the exact opposite reaction. Also every teams goal is to win the SB, Cook was asked a question and he answered like any player who you'd want on your team with that mentality.

I think what Chris said is what should give Jets fan hope with having Rodgers playing with attitude of something to prove. That said , it cannot be "just make the playoffs and hope Rodgers can pull one out" , The Packers allowed that to happen and it they should have done a bit more with the roster and handled Rodgers different. Regardless of the reasons he has came off like the prefect teammate and is doing his job at a high level. I am a Packers fan and just dislike how things went last few years , I hope Rodgers can win one for The Jets as well.

They lost Breece Hall week 6. Backups? I guess? Lol. They def beat both Aaron Rodgers and Josh Allen. And when they went 0-6 from weeks 13-18 they were within 1 score in 4 games. All playoff teams btw. That defense allowed just one thirty point game all season. That definitely gets better with a better offense, they’ll actually get to rest. I just don’t and can’t see the argument at all for 4th place.
As a Jets fan, I completely understand not buying completely into the hype. Most Jets fans half expect a disaster because we are the Jets and that's what we do, but Nick is WAY too low on them.
