As a Vikings fan, I expect Cook to do big things in New York. He wasn't a great fit for the offense O'Connell wants to have, but he will still be a beast in the right system, and there are other talented RBs to share the load.
Im so sick of people pretending like Bradys success in Tampa is solely because of him. Im a Panthers fan so i know NFC South football; he chose them because they were the most ready to compete team that needed the fewest pieces. One of those pieces being QB. Peyton did the same with Denver. Only difference is; Brady came to the NFC South at its weakest in 10 years.
Bucs were loaded and just needed their QB to not be in the 30-30 club. They also got hot at the right time and got some incredible luck in the playoffs
Saints were a powerhouse and only 2 teams showed any interest in Brady Tampa and San Diego that’s why he ended up w Bucs and Arod going to the Jets is the same if not better now there loading up with DCook etc
Pre - 2018, the Chiefs were a good team, with many pieces, but never accomplished much in the post season. However, when Mahomes started in 2018, that all changed. An elite QB like Brady can really elevate a team to levels they could not achieve before. Did he do it by himself? No, but he was the one irreplaceable player.

Why do they always forget Breece Hall. I know he’s coming off an ACL tear and that’s never good first season back but before he tore it he looked like one of the best RBs in the league. Plus the ACL tear was a very simple clean tear and supposedly he’s going to be ready to play week 1. Maybe he has a slow start to the season but by week 6-8 range I’d expect him to be playing at least to 90% what he was last year. 90% of last year Breece Hall is better than 100% Dalvin at this stage of his career.
Breece hall is a baller, if you look at his stats he was easily a top 10 maybe even top 5 in terms of productions when they gave him at least 10 carries (Weeks 4-7) I get that he's coming off an injury and Dalvin may be needed earlier in the year, but by November Breece is going to be fully fully back and breaking a whole bunch of tackles. If the OL is solid, this offence could be great
last two years he been solid but not top 5. 1170 yards on 4.4 per carry is good but not elite, especially considering last year he wasn't much of a receiving threat. Chubb, CMC, Ekeler, Henry, Saquon, Jacobs all undoubtedly better at this point But you could still argue top 10 and definitely top 15 so ppl saying he's washed or done is wild. He one of the best backups in the league for sure. (Breece will take over top spot by year's end)
