Tama needs to make an affordable bop kit in 18,14,12 again like the Silverstar but with Peter's name on it. They signed up a jazz monster endorser. Why not do something mutually beneficial. Currently it's a lot of lost opportunity for sales because jazz players are not gonna buy current small short stack and club jam for jazz. I bought Yamaha Stage Custom bop because Tama didn't have an offering other than Star bebop kits. Just needed something for casuals. I love the starcast mounting system so I would still buy a Tama kit if they offered one. Even a Superstar bop kit would be great! A little more money than Stage Custom but they have amazing finishes for the current lineup in larger sizes. I'd be all over that! Pricing strategy for this SLP kit was so close to Canopus Yaiba that I believe most consumers are gonna pick Yaiba.
