Any fucking thing by Meshuggah is heavier, anything by Cannibal Corpse is heavier, Anything by Decapitated, anything by Lamb of God. This riff is pretty heavy but it's not one of the heaviest. Not even close.

If you're using a Floyd rose to go to drop A, my best advice to you is don't tune the strings dead on. Tune them all about half to 1/4 step before the note, lock the nuts, then go from there. Also, it helps to have the right gauge strings and have your guitar setup specifically for the tuning. You know, the truss rods, the bridge itself, and even the tension springs in the back can have a big effect on the sound; Let alone how easy it is to get to that tune. Hope the advice helps - even at the slightest. Great video man, it'll help me learn the song too :)

I can't play this song the way u do... I start head banging and right at the bridge/breakdown I loose control, miss some of the notes... well what can I do, this tune moves me :D oh btw... Brilliant cover :)
I recommend playing it without moving as much as you can, and really focus on the notes. Just repeat the process until muscle memory takes over and it'll be a lot easier. And I get you bro. All slipknot songs are like that for me

As good as he is as a rhythm guitarist, as far as i have seen his videos, he faces difficulty in playing solos of songs like Gematria or Psychosocial. Jim and Mick both play solos in different songs. I dont know Anton's present skill set, but for replacing anyone in slipknot, he needs to be a kick ass soloist.

What string gauge do I use for drop a
I use XL regular light gauge and I play in standard B so basically drop a. If you are using a floyd rose make sure you are adjusting the setup in the back. Floyd roses come in standard so u need to adjust it if you are tuning it THAT differently. I had constant probs keeping it in tune until I did that. (I play the exact same m-400 as the guy in the vid)
If u need help with that either look it up on UA-cam im sure there are vids or just ask ill put step by step 👍🏻
