I would like the switch 2 to be like the super Nintendo, where the original switch was like the Nintendo entertainment system. I want it to primarily just be more powerful and capable, with a lesser focus on gimmicks that are rarely used. Backwards compatibility would be a must for me, also would like some enhancements with online features and functionality. I do understand that Nintendo wants to make game safe for children to play online and that’s part of the reason they do things the way they do, but I think we should be able to have voice chat, messages, and achievements With the new system. Maybe they could have some kind of functionality where you can restrict some features like this if a account is listed as under 13 or 17, and that could also be used to restrict unapproved teen or mature rated titles from being playable. Such accounts could also be used to restrict access to less regulated in games that are not viewed by the ESRB. But give gamers of age full access like we come to expect with the other platforms.
Switch 2!! 😊 I didn’t buy the first Switch as great of a success as it was. I got burned with the Wii U abandonment. I decided to skip a gen with Nintendo. Switch 2 is a welcome back to Nintendo console for me. I plan to buy it. I hope it does great.
Since I’ve been without my PS5 I’ve dug out my switch and played Mario Sparks and I was amazed by how much I’m enjoying this game. The Switch 2 is now appealing to me, great podcast Naomi 🙌
Name a more perverse power couple than Nintendo and litigation... This is why we can't have nice things. 😢 The 8-month delay likely stems from Palworld's commercial success. I doubt Nintendo would've bothered to litigate if the game turned out to be a nothingburger. It just so happened to be an avenue for Nintendo to opportunistically cash in.
Nintendo doesn't file lawsuits they can't win. They were doing their research for 7 months.
You’re right

Not sure how magnetic joy cons will be good as for cost oil reckon it'll be about 400 to 450 because of inflation sadly
Sony is missing out on tons of money by not selling plates for the og PS5.
