I don't know if maybe someone else already commented it, but fun fact:
Axel (Lucas) and Maxence (Eliott) were really close during filming but hadn't seen each other for a few days or few weeks because they were filming other scenes away from each other, so the nerves that you see Axel and Maxence get at the beginning of the painting scene are actual nerves and anxious anticipation because they're seeing each other again. Apparently the director did this on purpose. I just thought that fact was really cute 😊

You REALLY need to know one thing : David Hourrègue, the producer of the series, forbade the actors of Eliott and Lucas to see each other during one week before shooting this scene of the reunion in the painting room (whereas they saw each other almost 24h/24 to shoot before that). This makes their reunion real. And, another fun fact: the actors told anecdotes about the love scene they shot right after, and they said they had to be separated to stop the scene. They were so in the heat of the moment that they didn't hear the director say "cut" or call them to stop kissing.
The scene when they first kissed in the rain, Lucas was imitating Elliot's video about the two beings in separate lands, one light and one dark. One of the beings finally got the courage to reach out to the other, and Lucas was holding up his hands in the same way. When their fingers interlocked, Lucas was brave enough to jump into Elliot's world.

Fun facts:
- The scene of the first kiss is the same as the one in Eliott’s video (the video Lucas sees at the beginning).
- The scene of the first kiss was the first time they filmed it and they kept that one.
- When at the party Lucas sees Eliott kissing Lucille and Lucas hits a doorway, he really hurts himself. He had a bad hand for a few days.

God this video was worth the wait. OG will always be superior for being the origin of such beautiful and complex characters but Skam France season 3 is hands down the best remake with it's beautifully shot scenes and the build up. French cinematography continues to amaze me

Wonderful reaction...thank you. Axel and Maxence are truly brilliant, world class talent. In my opinion, they went beyond mere "acting" here. They truly created "alter egos" in Lucas and Ellliot. I have had the pleasure of chatting briefly via zoom with Axel three times during virtual conventions this past year. Not only is he insanely talented, he is a true gentleman, a genuine "old soul" and clearly destined to be a huge star.
How lucky you are! I absolutely agree with you! He is just 23. Considering his talent, experiences, passion, and unique nature, I have no doubt he would be a huge actor. I am excited, making a picture in mind his 30s, 40s, 50s, and more.
I respect them so much as well! I also had a chance to chat with Axel and Maxence at the virtual conventions and both of them are destined to be legends!

I swear, when Lucas started playing the piano, I had exactly the same reaction as Eliott. I even cried because of how beautiful he was playing and Eliott's reaction. It was perfect.

It's the way this particular season hits the hardest in every remake (and obviously og skam) like damn isak and even existing and being happy in every parallel universe makes my heart go boom
SKAM France will always be my favorite remake, well actually it's my favorite including OG. Eliott and Lucas are the best season 3 couple, they were portrayed incredibly and I follow the actors to this day.

The paint kissing scene was actually inspired by Xavier Dolan's film "I killed my mother" (J'ai tué ma mère) which came out in 2009. It is such a beautiful movie and I strongly recommend watching it! Xavier Dolan is one of my personal favourite directors and his movies are always so gorgeous

Lol this season actually made me so aware of my own broken friendships and problems. I can’t handle this season. And now I just want to vent about my problems and cry the whiten day. Lucas is way too relatable
Pretty much all of the SKAM remakes have an emotional, genius season 3. DRUCK (SKAM Germany) takes a little bit of a different route, which makes it even better.
Isaac & Evans' story is Season 2 for SKAM Italia (apparently they made it sooner due to growing homophobic problems in Italy at the time):
The Italian (overall highly aesthetic and cinematic) rendition is pure beauty as well, and they took a slightly different turn for Niccolò (Evan)'s mental disorder

SKAM France Season 3 is just incredible. Some of the highest quality television I have ever seen. The acting is so good, especially from the actor who plays Lucas. He seriously needs to get into film. Hollywood is calling.
I highly recommend reacting to wtFock. Season 3 has some very unique storyline changes that make it one of the best versions of the Isak/Evan story. Season 2 of wtFock is pretty incredible as well.

I really like that the two actors, Axel and Maxence, interact with each other outside of the show. They often comment on each other's instagram and joke with each other; they aren't afraid to show affection for each other publicly, unlike all the other Evak actors.
@cœur de l'océan If you read what I wrote, you would hopefully understand that I never presumed any such thing. I said the two actors are comfortable interacting publicly, outside of their characters. Other Evak actors may or may not like each other as you say, but they also don't (often?) interact with each other publicly, outside of their shows.
Didn’t evak kiss in front of a camera during a ceremony or something ? I remember a video of them kissing in public (for the camera) and people applauding
@@lucduval3956 Yes, that was for the Gullruten Awards show kiss cam. It's just that they were there for their performances and did what was sort of expected of them. Axel and Maxence have been affectionate and joking with each other in their Instagrams as well as various videos.
I know that sometimes it's the actor's agency that puts certain restrictions on them to maintain a certain image.
@@grangerjung4129 that's not true, there were interviews with Even and Isak (Henrik and Tarjei) and the were not awkward around each other. They did have a good connection and both admitted that.

I remember crying watching most of this season but for some reason your reaction made me smile 😅 I guess you just reminded me of this cinematic masterpiece and the emotions I felt back then, which naturally made me happy (no matter how much it hurt watching it clip after clip). This season made me IN LOVE with Skam France, and absolutely love Lucas/Eliott. I literally have a face mask with Eliott's drawing of them on it (Eliott#3546) I love it so much. The actors, music, and made me feel so many emotions, I cried. And I have a stone heart. In terms of Isak seasons, personally this is definitely in my top along with WTFock's w/ Robbe/Sander.

It amazes me that more people don't catch that, either. As soon as I realized Elliot was in the rain and Lucas was dry I began to suspect that's where the scene was going, and then Lucas holds out his hands just like in the drawings it hit me really hard. Just the fact that Elliot knew Lucas had watched his film adds something to this version that none of the others comes close to matching.

I agree with you. The scene between Lucas and Yann is so incredibly moving and poignant. I cry too when I see this scene. One additional thought: I believe the paint scene actually went on for 14 minutes and then was edited to take take less time to convey the movement of time and further the plot. It's a beautiful scene as well. I'm prejudiced though. I've been crazy over Lucas and Elliot's relationship for a long time now. Only problem (for me) is there are edits throughout all the SKAM original series and the remakes, is the continuity is gets confusing, making the show(s) difficult to follow.
Fact 1: Axel (Lucas) learned piano song and he really played this in the show
Fact 2: In first kissing scene they did the same moves and place like in film in Eliots project (episode 2)

I was angry at how Yann reacted. The moment Lucas gathered all his courage to tell him is Lucas’ moment, seriously NOT the right time to take it personal when it’s not about him. Couldn’t he really save it for later? Idk if it’s just a French thing or sth but it rubbed me the very wrong way.
Being mad because he didn’t tell him first was petty in my opinion. He didn’t even want other people to know yet. It takes a lot of courage to come out and Lucas didn’t need that kind of reaction from Yann. He could have said something like “It’s okay, I wish you would have felt like you could have told me sooner. I’m always here for you.” Don’t just leave him??
