I just got this bike again. I sold it 2 years ago to make money and now I traded with someone who can’t handle the seat ergonomics. Someone also was selling their Corbin solo seat for $250 and I bought that. Looks sick.
One of the best bike I've ever owned. Sold it because it weighed over 600 pounds and my driveway is steep. But I do miss it at times. Now I have a 2014 multistrada which is close to it, if not better.
Question sir do you custom made the tail of your bike ? The cover for the passenger seat? How yo deal with the key lock for the seat? Thanks great video!
The best I have managed to get from my 1200F with just steady cruising at 70mph was about 43mpg, which in rough math is about 200 miles with a tiny bit of fuel left. When I filled after 194 miles, it took 4.7 gallons lol.
So either Honda fitted yours with a bigger tank (19 litres doesn't add up to 4.7 gallon) or the fuel station is fiddling haha. Mine averages 43mpg over the season.
North jersey, pa and ny is a hidden gem for motorcycle riders, "when the weather is good". I'll be here until late Oct hit me up if you are in the area. I ride every weekend.
Yeah, not worth the risk to get through slow traffic.... If your passing Marc Marquez around the outside then sure, be bold. Who's in a race to the hood ornament on a Dodge Ram though?
Constant relax speed at 70mph on the motorway, I will never-ever pass the bar of 120 miles on a tank. I start wondering if something not wrong with the bike... Basically 50-60 miles on first bar, then about 12 miles per bar after that. If I open the gas well... divide all figures by 2 :)
Hugh Mungus the tank size is ok. Is the millage that is crap. Did 36mpg on my last ride. Got 149.1 miles out of 4.1gal all back roads. Can't speak of highway mpg yet.
fantastic video, excellent footage, great chill music, excellent engine sound. Wow. Great Work!

@@adventurehobbies1272 ooooh that’s a good looking bike. Awesome choice
@@adventurehobbies1272 did your seat happen to have the Corbin key or did they never give you one?
This video should have a million views.
Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately the vfr1200f is not well known. That's why it's a rare bike and my views suffer because of it.

200 mile range is impressive. I bet the range enziety was unbearable. I will probably chicken-out at 155miles
Safe range if you are just taking it easy would be about 180 miles. If you are out having a little fun like in this video, then yeah, 150 lol.

Insanely beautiful roads, thanks for the upload!
I'm from NJ also but in Ocean City. Never knew these roads are from NJ in the north! Welcome to TMG, hope to ride with you soon in Tampa!

@3:05 The adage comes to mind :there are old m/c riders and there are bold m/c riders ..but no old and bold

wish the range wasnt so crap. is it that hard for Honda to put a 20 litre tank on it?

This vfr1200f with dct and vtec ?
1200 doesn't have v-tec it doesn't look to be dct it not got a handbrake on the left grip
No wonder you only get the mileage you do because you have no throttle or gear selection experience
