AT NO time does god or Jesus ever say "Don't keep human slaves." But god DID however tell former slaves to get slaves, beat them but only so much, and will them to their children. I guess that whole mixed fabric debacle was taking up too much of god's bandwidth for him to command them to be decent to other human beings.
