That last map doesn't let you highlight the range finder. That mod really lets the Panther shine at long-distance shots, which complements the armor scheme nicely.
I think how most warthunder youtubers I watch don't tag enemy locations on their minimaps, and then some of them complain about bad and blind teammates, it's like bruh tag it on the map it's simple.

I try to ping on map as well, but I'm really shit at translating the location I see to a position on the map

I really enjoy this stock -> spaded format man. Kill montages are great, but this type of format and thorough information on the strengths and weaknesses of a given vehicle really give a viewer/player a good reference for what to expect in their own experiences, should they choose to invest their time in said vehicle. Please keep up the good work!
also worth noting the Panther F has thicker roof armor. IRL the schmallturm never entered production, but some panther F hulls were made and paired with ausf. G turrets.
How come the schmallturm was never used? I'm guessing it's because it would be too annoying to change production and the G turret was very similar to older models
@@humzaakhtar9208 The war was over before production could start. There were plans to mount some auto-loading mechanism to increase RoF, too.
Apparently a 4 round magazine with a loading arm. I think the mechanism was developed but never tested on a real vehicle.

Some Schmalturm Turrets where mounted on Panther G Hulls (As shown ingame) And Panther F hulls were produced aswell. But it is questionable if they saw combat. If I remember correctly, there is a picture of a Panther G Late with a Panther F hull Berlin.
Panthers are such a cheat code since the introduction of volumetric shells ...
I remember when I started to play, they were sooo much easier to pen in the turret cheeks ...

This video format is really, really cool and interesting to watch. Definitely helps me with my own gameplay. It would be cool if you did a stock to spaded for a lesser used and lesser seen vehicle, like the AMX-40 or OF-40s, or perhaps the Arietes after the next major update, since they're apparently receiving some improvements.
Also, it would be cool if you did a general guide for the whole AMX-30 platform (including AMX-32 and AMX-40) as you did with the Panther. Not many people know how to play them, so they're all avoided like the plague (from my experience).
Can't wait for the French guide, I've got every tank for france up to rank 6, then I have 5 of them and 2 leclercs. Can't wait to see what you think of the tree!

There is 1 thing that is quite annoying. Its the rangefinder bulges on the sides, from my experience i got shot there a lot and since i dont have bush to put on it it is quite hard to cover it
How to bring incredible pain to those players who didn't get to the *forbidden* German toys, bring them up over and over... 😢

Love the panther F always reminded me of the “alleged” panther II
the panther 2 was a proposal
I used it on my 6.3 line-up before abandoning the game.
If I fail the sniping I usually got oneshotted.
Anyway I think I collected only 10 kills (only 1 with this) over the 2 km but they were very satisfying
Ps I always hated the pain of having to grind better shells, Germany was the best for this.
The better shells are available by the default, no?

Thank you so much for this, almost at panther A, wondering why to go for this when the G exists, remember when the G used to be the optional one? Also I'm guessing the reason why the F exists and is technically an earlier variant than the G is that Germany wanted a better turret to eliminate the shot trap but since that would change production again the G was settled for

Yeah but it also looks more difficult to produce so Germany ofc would struggle more than producing the G, and since G is after F I'm assuming the G is a later variant
F was planned to be after G, Panther naming was strange and unregular.
(I cannot say why it is in the game under the A variant instead of under the G variant)

F was actually planned to come after G but the war ended before they could be built
Before gaijin nerfed the Engines on all Panthers, the Panther A was the best one, 50HP more than the G and a faster Turret traverse

i'm telling ya, if Gaijin just renames the Panther II to E-50 they could just put it back in the game as is.
Germany totally lacks a medium in 6.7.
It is physically an impossible set up to put the 88 in the shmallturm, so it wouldn't even work if Gaijin was ok with a paper tank

You should do a stock to spaded with a MBT. Maybe the m1a2 sep or the leopard 2a6.

Bit nitpicky, but for the mk103s i find it better to take the stealth belts, they have less pen and drop faster (slightly harder to aim) but the significant increase in post pen damage (since stealth is an AP shell and armoured is APCR) is well worth it, you'll be going through people's roofs anyway.
The Tigers and Panthers are so good that I don't mind up tiers with them. It's just a shame that German players are, well, German players.
My Experience with the Panther F is that it's very good but it is more like a heavy tank.
For me it's the Panther that finally admits: Hey, I'm a long range tank, I shouldn't go brawling in cities with -3kph reverse speed.

How good do you think the F111 will be?
Basically a tornado without guns. Not really the best, but CAS wise I think it will be above average, with the potential payload.
The Panther F is honestly one of my favorite WW2 tanks for the fact that it
1. Has a lazer range finder
2. Shell is absurd
3. Makes an actual 6.0 lineup
4. It genuinely looks good.
the main downside (for me atleast) is that they removed the top MG, besides that, great sniper.

Sadly not as good as the British Centurion Mk 1.
The F really struggles to pen its ufp even at close range, while the Centurion Mk 1 on the other hand can pen its ufp of up to 500 meters
Centurion was hard to crack frontally. Its good tank
