honestly, seeing unused pages from youtubers is both refreshing and comforting. the absolute realism makes me feel less lazy about not always keeping up with things 💜

I’m glad it’s valuable! I don’t see any point in lying and making it out like all of the pages I set up get used to completion 100% of the time 😝

wow, excellent video and flip-throughs. I really loved the variety of journal sizes, that is awesome for a newbie. it was also refreshing to hear you say "it's okay that a the pages are blank", if someone with such an awesome journaling practice has blank spaces and the need to reset, it gives me great hope! thank you so much for all the wonderful content

Thanks! Glad you liked it! 😄💜 I don’t put too much pressure on myself to fill stuff in when things aren’t working for me in the moment. I used to get quite bummed if things weren’t 100% filled in, but I appreciate the freedom of letting that expectation go 😊💜

So many good ideas. I especially like the watermelons symbolising each chapter that has been read. I think this will help me read through some heavy non-fiction books.

Was needing some inspiration 🎉. I suddenly can hardly wait for a 2023 version of this! Seeing the B6 and B5 again was fab. I totally agree with how much note taking the B5 supports. I use one for my learning & training program notes. Love this video.

Omg, Jess! Thank you for doing another awesome video! Essentially you have done something for me that I apparently have not been allowing me to achieve. You give yourself permission to use more than one journal, whereas I always assumed you can only use one at a time! Why? Idk… but thank you for showing us all how to be successful in journaling and being very forgiving to oneself for not completing all you set out to do. I get so hard on myself! Love your show!

Aww you’re most welcome! 😄💜 I get a lot of enjoyment out of my bullet journaling, so I want to make sure it’s not only a system that helps me with my organisation, but also doesn’t turn into something that I punish myself over if I don’t use it or something

Jess, I'm OBSESSED with your content, I've been binging your videos and watching your vlogmas first thing in the morning everyday. I really think there are no other journaling channel like yours on UA-cam and I really appreciate all the time and effort you put in. I've picked up so many little tips and tricks and ideas from watching you, I'm having to credit you everytime I show off my spreads hehe. Keep up the good work, I'm excited for what's to come in 2023 :)

This was a good video to watch / listen to while setting up some January pages. It's so nice to see how you have filled in the pages, and that it's also ok to not always fill them in. ♥

I have been binging on a ton of your videos these last two weeks for inspiration- and knew that I would be subscribing at some point but was waiting to do it on your flip through video for the year. Love that you try so many different styles even if they don’t work out because it could really work out for someone else OR your explanation of why it didn’t work for you sometimes informs me that it probably wouldn’t work for me either. But 🥅 I also like that you know what you really like and is usable to you. I enjoy hearing your thoughts Ann’s thanks for showing is how you use your journal.

It's amazing how many ideas you have each time! 😍
Even when it's things we see from other persons on the internet, you have such an innovative take on them!
Besides usually the way you think helps my weirdly-wired-brain (ADHD I see you). I need novelty so your channel is all the more helpful for me 💜

Last year i got to May and then just stopped after 3 years of bujo. I kept doing the same thing, a little box for every day in each month with a page covered in decorations. I think I forgot what bujo as all about and started thinking it a task to get done. This year i'm going to have 2 going at the same time, a yearly and a daily. i'm not going to fill my daily bujo with decorations and i'm going back to basics just like your August month. Im still going to make a themed notebook which has my trackers and 'classic bujo spreads' just to have fun with the creative side of this method. hopefully i won't stop halfway through this year

February's quote being 'Don't wait, the time will never be just right' was really awesome
And it was really funny when the first setup of that month (sleep tracker) was unused because it was the wrong time due to the start of school- Perfect quote for the irony-

    • @JashiiCorrin
      @JashiiCorrin  11 місяців тому +1

Haha I didn't even spot that one myself! The reason I went with that quote is because I was starting to seriously think about whether I was going to leave teaching to content creating full-time, but I was apprehensive as to whether I could "actually do it" 💜

thank you for the discount code at stationary pal! I had not heard of them before and OMG they are loaded w/tons of fun stuff!! got myself some treats for bujo times in '23! I also really appreciate the flip-through; I am constantly tweaking what I use and what I don't, and finding that it changes all the time depending on how life is going, too. and that's part of the fun, right? seeing the evolution, the call-backs, etc? anyway, great vid, and happy new year!

Wow, you've had an amazing year journal wise! I was looking at it wondering what my favourite spread of yours was but I have to be honest I adore them all!!!!!! I thought you'd done a fit everything on a spread video I'll have to go look for it again as that's what I'm wanting to use on my combination reading/bujo. Thanks for another great video Jess. XXXX

Are you a primary/kindergarten or secondary/high school teacher? Do you think this UA-cam channel income will replace your teacher's salary.
I am a secondary school teacher in the 🇬🇧 UK. I know so many teachers who are extremely tired and want to do something different. I feel the job involves many frustrations.
Thank you for sharing g any information you may decide to share and thank you for your excellent and calming videos.
