Man, this just activated my PTSD from back in the day when I covered the Murderdoll concerts and got a whole city of people hooked on them. I continuously played them on the radio station where I was a DJ. I am thankful for the memories of those days…. But I can’t stop hurting over Joey who was my favorite Slipknot member and the first one I got to see without the mask!

saw Wednesday 2 weeks ago and one hell of a performance and heplayed some murderdolls songs as a tribute to Joey it was awesome 🤘

I still have Murderdolls on constant rotation in my playlist. Love them. I was hoping for more, but then Joey passed. Such a shame - such talent gone too soon. 🙁💔

this is so hard :( this is the second time someone has mentioned that joey said something odd and almost allusive like this shortly before his passing. i just wish things could be different. i hope he knows how much we love him

@@suuske3563 Frederic from Sinsaenum I believe. He mentioned in a metal hammer article from december that the last thing joey ever texted him was that "he wished to fly like an angel".
Also Rob Flynn said « I’ve heard he had some problems » and Al Jourgensen something like « we all knew something will happen but never prepared for that »
I don’t know the meaning of theses quotes but sound odd..
I watched an interview with Sean zatorsky. He says that he talked to Joey all the time (even days before his death) and said that Joey was always sitting at home by himself and that he was really lonely. Sean said that his life probably would have gone differently if friends from the past had checked in with him more often, but nobody did. That's why it made him mad that everyone left a message on social media after Joey died, because why didn't you check in with him ever. It's just so sad, Amanda also left him and took all 5 of the cats. All of this after what happened with slipknot and getting sick. It's just really really sad.

When I saw Wedsnday a few years back in Montreal he played some murder doll songs. He's really good live and should have a big crowd but in my city it was tiny 🤷♂️ sad that murder dolls could of came back 😓 rip Joey 😓
