Nice! Too bad you didnt do a head 2 head with the current small suspension wheel standard, the T4. As alot of us have some experience (I own a T4 & its my goto gnarly offroad machine), it woulda been good to have an idea of the pluses & minuses. A review without a standard reference can be oftimes too vague for the consumer. EG when you say its got torque, do you mean it has RSht standards of torque or?? FWIW I regularly climb 30+ degrees on the T4, on dirt so that by itself doesnt say much. & I'm only bout 15-20kgs lighter, if that. I like the build of the Patton but it sure looks like its gonna have a busy summer competing with the new & lighter Commander Mini & BG's Extreme

    • @2cells1pack

@@360vroomers I have not tried an extreme (of course). From my limited understanding -> the increased suspension travel, pedal height, and taller battery boxes will be more designed for offroad/ heavy trail/jump use. The still seem to do better than everyone else.

@@oliverer3 its really not that difficult to make it good waterproof. Maybe 3 usd extra in production.
There's just no valid excuse for this.
Especially that the board is flat on the surface so any water will definitely reach the board.
This would ok for a 20 usd toy. Not for a 3000+ euc where a cutout can end in hospital.

Keep in mind though, that a huge portion of the cost comes from the battery and the motor.

@@bobdebouwer7835 I mostly agree but it is pretty damn difficult to design something to be weatherproof while still being easy to disassemble and not adding considerably to assembly cost, installing weird shaped orings is expensive yo.
With that said they could certainly have done a good deal better than that.

Too bad you stopped the teardown where you did: we will all have to go further in order to change a tire, right?

We have a video showing exactly a teardown to the point where you change the tire :)

    Sooooo many screws!

yeah... there's a lot. I would estimate... around 70-80 screws to get down to a bare motor.

    PLEASE.....lose the music!
    It's (1) too loud.
And (2).....the fast tempo does nothing but distract.

Sorry about that Byron. For the music - were you referring to the teardown music or the riding part music? We are always looking to improve

@2cells1pack just the teardown music.....wayyy too loud.
You 2 gave a very good review!
      Thanks for all you do.
You've always given EXCELLENT teardown reviews!

Thanks for the feedback. We will most likely split the teardown from the review and remove music from all teardowns going forwards.
