@@robbaker6189 I don't think that has to be with the ride's company itself but could be also because the ride owner/theme park that owned didn't make the proper maintenance requirements of this ride so the reason as a result consuming of this can be only be confirmed from the investigators of the accident
I know this is an ancient comment but just throwing this out there. Zipper's dont even cost anywhere near a million dollars, not even brand new. Also, you can buy a decent used one for under 100k. Check out any ride selling site like usedrides and you will see Zippers for under 100k.
I wish they would show one for Giant Wheel and The Wipeout. I wish they would bring back a couple of the classic rides even if they just park model. But I did enjoy the video.
But is the acrylic urethane enamel baked on using specialized technology developed by the Sikkens division of AkzoNobel for a paint finish that lasts far longer than polyurethane paints?

please bring back the skydiver! That’s the best ride ever! And the old diamond center zipper was the best. The 11 rpm made it much more fun. And since the new ones have harnesses now, how about bringing the higher speed back. U can’t get thrown around anymore, which actually sucks in my opinion. So make up for it someway. I always thought the zipper should have been called the chainsaw.
@@slayerfan2 I built a model zipper of the chainsaw identical to that shows. There’s only one named chainsaw in the United States. It’s in Alaska now. I also built a diamond center original zipper.

@@slayerfan2 I agree. I just think the original diamond lighting with banjo lights was more esthetically appealing. It looked better. Also the original tire drive (wet) ones have a much better ride to me. I used to love hearing the screeching of the tires. Lol! But I really wish they would bring the skydiver back.
@@1981mrdavid I’ve heard of them. I believe they’re related to arnold amusements and they have a nice Sea ray. That’s one of the pieces that came from Magic midways and one of the few Sea rays I’ve seen with a double sign

7:54 that ride is so much fun they have it at an amusement park an hour away from me it’s called delgrossos amusement park and it’s my favorite ride
there used to be a Sea Dragon in it's place, now "Midway of fun" Owns it.
The presence of a Zipper is the determining factor of whether or not I attend a fair. I go to ride the Zipper.
