Jimmy, what license agreement(s) have you procured from Elvis Presley Enterprises (EPE)? You do know that you can't even use the name 'Elvis' without approval/license. It will be interesting to see the reception by EPE, and exactly what they will approve/license - if anything - for this endeavor. So, may we assume you have been in contact with EPE and provided at least a Business Plan or a preliminary MOU?
You are only partially correct. The use of the name "Elvis Presley" or surname of "Presley" is closely guarded by EPE. However, the name "Elvis", is not. The Copyright laws of the United States recognize the word "Elvis" as common verbage. The United States Patent and Trademark Office does not and will not grant exclusive license to common or proper names. Although Elvis Presley Enterprises does have exclusive use of the terms "Elvis Presley", "Elvis Presley Enterprises", "Graceland" and "Elvis Presley's Graceland", this does NOT prevent the use of "Elvis" in the singular term. If it was the case of the word "Elvis", then that would mean no one could name a child "Elvis". If they don't grant a license to use the terms mentioned above, he can still use "Elvis", since there is no such trademark on the first name.
@@CJOlin He is not just naming the plane/enterprise 'Elvis', but the entire plan centers around the Elvis dynasty. He has ignored my posts and concentrated on those of his clueless sycophants. He just might have an old scrap plane that under no circumstances can be marketed - directly or implied - with Elvis Presley. You require a better understanding of Intellectual Property Law.
@@lonestarhog7407 What happens if you take the finished project outside the United States, ie Mexico, China, Europe etc. Could he advertise it as Elvis Presley Jet?
@@sanfranciscobay No! It was manufactured in the USA and must abide by its Intellectual Property Laws. Also, EPE owns the same registered rights in virtually every country. There is no escaping it. If Jimmy has no agreements with EPE and spends a considerable sum refurbishing the aircraft he will be in a financially hopeless situation. EPE could also issue a Cease and Desist on the whole project. He could restore the junk, but have no reference to Elvis Presley. Surely, Jimmy has the necessary agreements/licenses from EPE for this project, including at least an DOU/MOU prior to the purchase. Right, Jimmy? 🙄
The Elvis Express has entered the building. Reminds me of the time I had to use a m816 wrecker to pull a head off of a Cobra Helicopter back in 1975 at Simmons Army Airfield when I was stationed at Ft Bragg with the 18th Aviation Company. My secondary MOS was 63b.
You standing there with the camera while the plane is being removed from the truck reminded me of the last golden bell scene in the old movie "The Long Ships" with Richard Widmark and Sidney Poitier. Poitier gets his bell and then the bell gets him. Old movies are crazy, but so is the Elvis plane, I guess, so, what could possibly go wrong?
Name it the hound dog are blue swayed shoes. I have a RV perfect for it if you don't have one already would donate for the cause lol has a 454 and the generator and engine runs good.
Loving the videos, what ever you do with Elvis plane know it will be awesome ,little disappointed it won't be able to fly again but it's ok there will be great things come from this can't wait, know Elvis is looking down smiling away!👍👑👏👏
In a way, they wanted it to go away, but what if it was Elvis's old car or something else you could restore. Just think of making this a t.v. room, well any old jet quarters. Doesnt a pressurized cabin sort of make a bomb shelter, hehe..
Our Jimmy knew long before he bid that it'd never fly again & was gonna convert it into a camper van. He already has the chassis & engine, remember that other video back along 😅
I'm glad to see somebody doing something useful with this plane. I first saw the inside of this plane back in 2009 while working for AAR in Roswell NM. The red shag carpeting screamed 70s.

Great job. Regarding memorabilia, make sure the Elvis estate is not going to throw IP issues at you for naming/usage rights. They don’t seem very friendly people.
The only thing about this and elvis is elvis bought it and sold it. I'm pretty sure he never seen it or touched it in person. When he owned it the inside was completely different. I could see it being made in to a rv to either rent out or re-sell. I doubt anyone will want to see it because of the whole elvis attachment because there wasn't really anything there in the first place. Only a buy and sell on elvis end.
JIMMY I WANT TO MAKE A SUGGESTION! I believe you should make a 15-20 second outro for your videos. I find myself waiting to the end of videos to like them, or I get involved in the video and forget until the last second. If you had an outro that would give people time to hit like if they’re on a tv. It doesn’t matter as much on a cellphone or browser. If you read this than I appreciate your time. Keep up the great content!
Looks like an awsome project. The question is there really enough room in that small storage unit to turn it into an rv roller? not much room to work around it.
Great job to all who helped Jimmy's world get this peace of history to Florida to be saved. I do have a question for Jimmy or anyone else that might know something about jets, Why could Jimmy have some one put another type of modern jet engines on the plane instead of cutting it up.
All that money spent, I would have invested in straps to leave on it from the beginning. Because it's going to be moved again and again so would be easy go each time. Good job on delivery and in a good place👍🏻

There's always something special about an aircraft essentially travelling on the roadways with you. Elvis's Jet or not you're still going to get people interested. You guys are great and Jimmy, you are and will be a great steward of this piece of history.
Jimmy you are sincerly keeping the American dream alive buddy ! You are an awesome dude man ! :)
When you say dream,do you mean nightmare lol.what a mission
keeping the "American dream" alive in what way exactly?
@@EpicJake07 American dream
the ideal by which equality of opportunity is available to any American, allowing the highest aspirations and goals to be achieved.
He's destroying an iconic plane because he's too cheap to fix it. Not very impressive if you ask me.
@@thegoat9473 it's been dead for 35 + years and nobody wanted it... And it was beyond repair if you saw the video... It's his now and he get's to do what he wants with it. If you wanted it back in the sky, you should have bought it and spent the near 5 million dollars to get it there.
😭😭😭😭 don't like seeing wonderful things caught up like this to be converted into something else than keeping as a plane to fly in the sky where it belongs free in the wild travelling place to place through the clouds and the blue sky😢😢😢
So what have you do to the plane please protect and look after them well 🙏
So all Elvis fans and still enjoy it❤❤❤❤❤
Love what your doing ❤keep it up.The world would be a better place with more JIMMYS in it !!!
LOL! Looks like a pile of scrap metal to me. A fool and his money.
Jimmy, I'm nearly 70, but retired civilian Radiological/Biomedical engineer, and worked on vehicles since I was 8 or 9 years old for my older brother and single mom, in Orlando area but open to relocating if you need help building the Elvis RV, let me know!👍🇺🇸😎
Jimmy, what license agreement(s) have you procured from Elvis Presley Enterprises (EPE)?
@@lonestarhog7407 China does not recognize US Copyright, intellectual property etc correct? So could he move the plane to China and do business there?
That moment I recognized Bruce and the truck two of the coolest youtube worlds happily collided in my head ❤
Bad idea Jimmy
Amazing the Quality of Front Landing Gear Locched Installed. Still able to Dolly !! Wheel an Deal Sir Jimmy
I am curious what jimmy’s wife thinks about the Elvis jet.
I agree. That's a lot of money to spend.
This is Jimmy's new address and Jimmy's new ex wife wants alimony 😂 lol
Hates it and wonders what the he's he's doing with such trash
I know, she thinks it is an awesome idea and supports him all the way.
Que traduscan el video a espanol porfabor.
Someone needs to make a belly tank race car out of one of those fuel tanks
Semi’s, tractors, and airplanes. There couldn’t be a better channel 😂🎉
*Suede*
You can't go wrong with a big-block Chevy. 😎
If you ever do a tour for locals please let me know. Love to see that in person. 😊
That plane could of flown again. The fact that engines had already been retrofitted to one befor was ignored.
Nope itll never be airworthy thats why it was sittin.
@Hadley Scott McIntyre actually it could of been made airworthy. I am into old airplanes
@@erickricharson5196 for an absurd amount of money? sure! if you paid for it, then maybe

Loving the videos, what ever you do with Elvis plane know it will be awesome ,little disappointed it won't be able to fly again but it's ok there will be great things come from this can't wait, know Elvis is looking down smiling away!👍👑👏👏
Video of some truck drivers standing around talking.
I think the RV plan is brilliant I hope you come through Arkansas with it after you get it going.
What a waste.
Jimmy has that young man crazy energy , whatever he comes up with will be streamlined and sleeker than dolphin .
In a way, they wanted it to go away, but what if it was Elvis's old car or something else you could restore. Just think of making this a t.v. room, well any old jet quarters. Doesnt a pressurized cabin sort of make a bomb shelter, hehe..
I woke up a few days ago hearing a line from the song, "King of the Road" in my Spirit. Sounds good to me!
The red shag carpeting screamed 70s.
except it was installed by a later owner, not Elvis.
everyone involved in this plane.hey my hats off to you guys gentry trucking jimmy all of you guys it was amazing and breathtaking to watch.I couldnt get enough of it.The history alone is crazy!i wanted to add more but windows 11 needs a a update in 2 mns or else!.are you kidding it wont let me choose later all greyed out for later but i love you guys thanks for the cool videos!
Hey Jimmy, perfect name for the RV. “Hound Dog One”
Great job. Regarding memorabilia, make sure the Elvis estate is not going to throw IP issues at you for naming/usage rights. They don’t seem very friendly people.
"east bound and down loaded up and trucking..." 34:10 I can't believe Tim couldn't remember "Smokey & the Bandit" !! He must be tired...
Jimmy there is no way w both just went Wooo at the same time the truck pulled up with the jet, oh lordy ♥
Everyone give Jimmy's videos a like!
Looks like an awsome project. The question is there really enough room in that small storage unit to turn it into an rv roller? not much room to work around it.
Soooo lookin forward to following ur journey with the king Jimmy mate
You should talk to a buddy of mine from my Air Force days. Gino Lucci converted a C-47 into an RV. He can probably give you some pointers.
Great job to all who helped Jimmy's world get this peace of history to Florida to be saved. I do have a question for Jimmy or anyone else that might know something about jets, Why could Jimmy have some one put another type of modern jet engines on the plane instead of cutting it up.
It wouldve cost 5 million to get the airframe back to airworthy standards according to an earlier episode.
im glad someone bought this and is fixing it. this thing belongs in a museum though this is a very historic piece of american culture
No it’s not. It’s a derelict airplane that was very briefly owned by an entertainer.
If you put the tail section back on you could gut that area and put an actual bedroom in that area?
Good morning from Minnesota!! Great job by all the guys!! Can't wait to see the build series!
All that money spent, I would have invested in straps to leave on it from the beginning. Because it's going to be moved again and again so would be easy go each time. Good job on delivery and in a good place👍🏻
