Honestly, it's such a great vehicle, I bought a second one today for my wife. I bought a 2023 exl in platinum white last year to replace my 2012 pilot. My wife had a 2016 crv exl with 60k miles, so I figured I'd trade it in while I could still get a decent trade in value. NO WAY I would pay 40k for the new CRV that only has that small 1.5 t engine. For 3k more, it's a no-brainer to get the passport. Also, as someone who now owns 2 of these vehicles, my advice to anyone looking into purchasing one is to only buy the EXL model. There is no reason to spend an extra 2k for the trailsport model because it really only gives you cosmetic upgrades. You get badges that say trialsport and stitching on the seats as well as roof rails. They do give you smaller 18 inch rims with slightly off-road tires which some people like but I prefer the 20 inch rims that come with the exl. There's NO off-road upgrade to the suspension. It's also not worth the extra $7K for the Black edition when the only extras you really get for all that money is ventilated front seats, heated rear seats and a roof rack.

I'm about to turn in a 2020 Passport Touring and am looking at this SUV (2024 Passport EX-L) and a 2024 Pilot EX-L or Touring. First off, your walkaround reviews are stellar, thanks so much for sharing these. Which model would you lease for a 36 month term? The 2024 Passport which really looks the same as my current vehicle or the newly redesigned Pilot? For some reason, my local Honda dealers have very few 2024 Passports to choose from with all inventory being the Black Edition which I don't want. Don't really need the third row seating of the Pilot but this might be my only option as my Dallas - Ft. Worth Honda dealers seem to have quite a few EX-Ls. Bummer on them taking the armrest off the seat (that is adjustable) to the center console thing that is stuck at one height.
