I just got a 24 EX-L, black exterior with brown interior. I really wanted the red/brown like the one shown here, but there were none around. So I settled on the black because it had the brown. Now, I’m really happy with the black. I will say that the brown interior is stunning in person and is one of the main reasons that I love the vehicle. It’s really fun to drive (especially in Sport mode) and quite comfortable. I really like the way the inside looks - perfect combination of modern and old school for me. I love the new center console. I test drove a 23 model with the arm rests and hated it. The mpg is terrible - I tend to get 15-16 city. But I don’t drive often (I don’t have a commute for work) so my trips around town are usually short, and we have a fair amount of hills and stop lights. I’ve definitely gotten 25-25 on the highway. For the first month, I fretted about the mpg but now I don’t care and instead have decided to just have fun while I drive it and not worry about it - especially since I only tend to fill up once a month. The cup holders are large and can fit my 26 oz Yeti. I added the heated steering wheel option and that was definitely a great choice! My only real gripe is that I wish the lumbar support was a bit stronger. I can live without wireless car play, especially since wireless charging pads are notorious for not being reliable. I’d love upgraded audio, but the speakers that come with it get the job done. Much better than standard audio I’ve heard on other cars.
It’s a really nice looking car . I do wish the space inside the back was 48 inches instead of 47 inches because a sheet of plywood is 48 inches. And if it slid right inside no problems that’s a major plus. . But overall. It’s nice.
I've got a 2020 Passport Elite and really like it. The interior is very spacious and comfortable. I live in the San Diego area and get about 19-20 mpg in mixed driving around town. On a cross-country road trip to Illinois, I was able to get around 27-28 mpg with the cruise control set at the speed limit (65-70 mpg) and the car in Eco mode. Regarding the blind spot monitor inside the vehicle, it's pretty much useless, especially in bright sunlight. I would much rather have it integrated in the mirrors because I'm already looking in them anyway. The audible alert is helpful, though. (Only alerts when you signal a lane change and are car is detected in your blind spot.) The 9-inch display is fine for my needs. The one complaint I have about it is how it's angled upwards. If i open the sunroof shade or the sunroof itself, reflections make it difficult to see what's on the display. My last minor complaint is with the cruise control. It's a bit sluggish to get back up to the set speed if you have to brake and use the reset button. It sucks at holding the car at speed on even moderate downhill inclines, and that sometimes requires braking to slow the car down. My previous car would hold the set speed within 2-3 mph on even steeper downhill inclines. The adaptive cruise control is a bit jerky in how it maintains the distance from the car ahead. (I recently rented a Toyota Camry hybrid, and its adaptive cruise control was much smoother.) All in all, I'm very satisfied with my Passport.
The AC controls are in the wrong spot, too low. With them in that position you have to take your eyes off the road to adjust. I don't like the new type of button shifter. It adds complexity where it doesn't need to be. Honda, you should have just stayed with shift by wire. If it's not broken why redesign it.....
Own a 2021. Very satisfied thus far with only 21k miles. Seat comfort? I'd say so-so on long trips. Primarily just the seat bottom gets "tired". My biggest overall complaint is the collision avoidance safety system. It can be very random and activate for no reason. Especially troublesome on gentle right hand curves. Thanks for your videos. Always informative and thorough.
My 2019 Honda Accord does this as well, I think it is the way the camera by the rear view mirror is adjusted. Seems less intrusive when I turn down or off the LKAS
In order to listen clearly the engine sounds, you must shut up at least 1 minute. Also I didn't hear the cabin noises. Remember for the next vehicles 👈👈👈

Very nice vehicle. I bought a 2022 CRV and absolutely love it. The Passport will be my next purchase. I love the color.

Does this particular trim model the EX - L have heated steering wheel or perhaps is that an option versus standard equipment?

Agreed. I know it's the base trim 1 of 3 (but an EX-L in the Pilot is a Mid level, 3 of 6). Very, very basic looking inside (and out).
