Natural Titanium
By far the blue, it’s the best color phone I’ve ever had. At times it’s black, sometimes silver.
I don’t know if it really matters since most people get cases with whatever color they want anyway.
I must say buddy. The intro to this is by far the best introduction in any video on tech I have ever seen

I actually upgraded my 13 Pro Max for a 15 Pro and I’m super impressed with it. He’s right when he says it’s the small things that make upgrading worth it. I’ve had mine for about 5 months now and it’s seriously the best iPhone yet.
13 Pro Max was one of my favorites, the 15 PM to me builds off a lot of what I enjoyed with that phone. Glad to hear you’re enjoying yours as well!
Battery life on regular 15pro? Would it last a day with a mix of wifi and 5g?
@@thomashelbay For me, yes. Depends on your use. Be aware that if you play games or take lots of photos that does kill the battery fairly quickly. One of the things I did to prolong the battery life a bit was disable the AOD, and I also leave WiFi and Bluetooth turned off (via settings, not control center) unless I actually need to use them. For me it’s usually about 8-9 hours of use before the battery is low.

Pro max is just toooo big for my hands, I’d have gone for s24 ultra if that size wasn’t an issue :)
Hey wassup, I was just wondering since I am also going from the 13 pro max and idk what to upgrade to the pro or pro max, I have had some difficulties in holding the phone, I am leaning towards the pro as I got small hands. do you think it’s worth the upgrade? Or I should upgrade to the pro max and get that bigger battery? Notice: i have a average of 8-9hrs of screen time. I onIy use them for social media consumption and normal messaging and rarely photography too. Thanks.

Have you used a screen protector on your device since day-one? If not, how has it held up in regards to scratches? I see a lot of feedback on the web that says the screen is very prone to scratches.
I put on a tempered glass screen protector as soon as I take the phone out of the box. My friend goes naked on his though and it seems to be holding up pretty well!
My 1TB Natural 15 Pro Max arrives today. I cannot wait to get my hands on it and see how it stacks up against my OnePlus 12 and Pixel 8 Pro.

@@JSLReview initial impressions. There were a few software bugs and the transfer process of using Move to IOS app was pretty awful, but once it was all set up and updated, it’s been great. Everything is pretty smooth and performance is very consistent.
I was worried about overheating issues with all articles and Reddit discussions, but I haven’t noticed any high temps. In fact it was cool to the touch during the hours long file transfer process unlike all my past Androids and iPhones.
Battery life is on par with my OnePlus 12 so far. Still not as beastly as my 13 Pro Max, but close enough for two days of use.
Fit and finish is great. The addition of the matte textured titanium and beveled edges on the rear are the chefs kiss to a well established design.
I like the fact it will be physically smaller than the upcoming 6.9” 16 Pro Max screen model. Very easy to use one handed, especially if you are used to large screen Android devices. Feels refreshing.
Navigating the UI feels intuitive with its playful and familiar design. Not being able to swipe from the right to go back seems is still annoying…. But apps are right where I left them when I am switching back and forth. There is nothing worse than typing a long reply in Reddit, jumping to grab a link, and returning to the Reddit app ater aggressive RAM management kills the app and erases the diatribe you’ve been typing for the past 15 minutes.
The display is beautiful and I have forgotten how much I appreciate iPhone’s color calibration. Colors are vibrant, but don’t appear over-saturated.
I also purchased a renewed Apple Watch Ultra from Amazon for $499 and have a pair off Gen 2 AirPods Pro so I can give the whole ecosystem another try.
Will see how it goes over the next few weeks.

Attention please..
There are some software glitches, and as someone who has had every generation of iPhone aside from the X and 14 series I find that surprising this far into a release. Some apps just get stuck. The settings screen was blank several times and required me closing and re-opening it. Camera glitched out a few times and placed gray blobs in the eyes of my youngest son and the family cat as well.
It was very cool to the touch when I set it up, which is a first for any kind of phone for me. But it does get warm doing random tasks. Not hot, but noticeably warm.
I have found myself going cáseless a lot. The rounded design and lighter weight solved the one issue I had with the 12 Pro Max and 13 Pro Max. The lower edge doesn’t dig into my pinky when I one hand it now and the matte rails and frosted glass are a chefs kiss to a well established design. No more smudges especially on the Natural finish.
Battery life is between the Pixel 8 Pro and OnePlus 12. I can get around 10 hours of screen time on a charge where the Pixel 8P got 8 and the 1+12 got 12 hours between top ups.
One thing that has bothered me is not being able to swipe from the right to go back. In 2024 we should have the option for swiping from both sides.
I do think I will be keeping it though. There are more things I like than I don’t. Also purchased a refurbished Gen 1 AW Ultra and I’m also really enjoying the overall Apple experience.
Could you tell me which case you chose? It appears to have a kickstand. Do you like it?

Bought this phone last month and I’m loving it except for the battery. It drains too fast on the first 2 weeks even with optimized setting. But after that time period, it gets a little better. . but just a little
i have question, i owned 15 pro but for your own opinion, does 16 pro have a edge on 15 pro (not in terms of chipset since its always changing every year)
Question. I was upgrading from iPhone 7, and ended up doing the whole switch to Samsung S24+. But I keep looking back at the iPhone 15pro. I still have time to send back the samsung, but not sure what I want to do. I have gotten used to the samsung, but I honestly don't like having the tons of customization and options on it. Especially notification sounds. Thoughts?
Hey good question! Both are great choices, Apple IMO does better with the minor details at the cost of customization, if that’s more your jam then I’d look into the 15 pro!

Got the 15 pro last October and I’m at 99% battery health after 190 cycles. Better battery life then my 12 mini but it still drains quick asf on some days tho
Update: 205 cycles and I’m at 97😭
@@kllaterall same, I have to charge it twice so as not to worry that the battery may not be enough, and I bought myself a power bank from Anker. after experience with 14 pro max the batteries on 15 pro are sorely lacking
@@alexefendi9743 got an anker too. for rn it lasts a couple hours longer than the school day but it definitely drains quicker than I thought it would. I’m at 96% now

Got my 15PM last october, loving everything except for battery. Sometimes drain too fast & battery health at 96% :( Is this normal?
Seems as though it’s a mixed experience, I’ve lucked out and had exceptional battery performance thus far but others are experiencing the issue I had with my 14 Pro Max, which was subpar perf and accelerated degradation of battery health.

What phone are you coming from? I’d say it’s enough to make the viewing experience enjoyable but it may be jarring if you’re coming from a huge phone
The dynamic island always gets in the way i cannot fully enjoy full-screen and it looks odd with a pill shape in view so i bought a galaxy s24u and sold my iPhone 15 pro about the price i bought the s24u

My iPhone 12 mini broke down after a rain shower of 10 minutes, repair costs: 575€! And the battery was almost worn out. After 3 years. I didn't want a new iPhone at all but I have to now.
So what interests me is: how long does the battery last in years, and what does waterproof mean!

I went from a iPhone 11 Pro to a 15 pro when it came out and I am currently at 182 charge cycles and 100%, this is similar to what I got out of my 11 pro up to this point, I see it as a worthy upgrade for sure

In my experience the reg 15 pros battery life is good. Nothing amazing but above average.
I have been an android user all these years and next week my new iphone 15pro arrives.....a bit nervous tho...i know apple has its own pros and cons..but still hope it would satisfy me...

Look..Iphones are not like android who will tell you about 200 megapixel camera and 20 gb ram..
Rather,Apple will provide you simple 48 megapixel camera and 6 gb ram..Which's performance will remain the same even after 6-7 years.
But on the other hand,Androids are joke now.
My iPhone 15ProMax that I’ve had since launch is sitting at 92% battery health right now. I’m at 257 cycles right now and I’m thinking about just draining the battery to 80% to get it replaced but I don’t know if I should do that. Its pretty noticeable how fast the battery drops throughout the day though. Sometimes I have to charge it twice a day.
Edit: I got the Natural Titanium with 512gb just incase anyone was wondering. Also, my 11PM that I had before this phone is doing way better than this as its sitting at 94% after all these years.

You can but it takes up a lot of storage so you’ll need a lot of memory
I’ve had my 15 Pro nearly a month now after coming off a six year old iPhone 8. Battery life and camera performance are really the only things I can point to as being an improved experience. There’s nothing else I can say I’m happy with. Overall, it’s far less user friendly for me.
My reason for coming around looking for videos on this model is my repeated issue of my ringer volume managing to turn itself all the way up at least once a day, mostly manifesting itself in my alarm clock jarring me awake each morning. I can find no real explanation as to why this keeps happening.
Hey sorry to hear the adjustment from the 8 is not as great as you may have hoped, it may take some getting used to with the form factor being quite different. As far as the alarm volume it has to be adjusted in the settings under sound and haptics. Hope this helps!
@@JSLReview Thanks for the response. I’ve made that volume adjustment many times, both on settings and via the side buttons. I get it right where I want it and, at some point before the next morning, the volume level is right back up at max when the alarm goes off.

Hey there, the 15 pro is a great upgrade from the 11, the regular 15 would also be a strong and more budget friendly move. You may want to consider waiting out until the 16 drops if the 11 is still ok!

Hi,I want to enter in the apple ecosystem and I don't know if I should get the iphone 15 pro or iphone 15 plus.Is the battery that bad on iphone 15 pro?The difference is just 65$ (dollars)
15 plus will give you the best battery but the battery life on the pro isn’t bad from my experience. I’d go with the plus if a bigger screen is a must. Go with the pro if 120hz refresh rate is a must.
I have the 15 pro, and it’s by far the best iPhone I’ve ever had. The battery life is absolutely fine by the way. Even above average to be honest. I had the pro max’s for the last couple years and finally wanted to switch to the normal sized pro. If you like the bigger version then get the 15 plus, but the pro blows it away
I was surprised that the iPhone 15 pro comes with a cable and no charging block. My iPad which costs way less did.
Yeah Apple got rid of including charging bricks with the iPhone a few years ago, causing a terrible precedent across most phone manufacturers

I just got my 15 pro yesterday after trading in my 12 pro max and I gotta say I’m very satisfied and loving it so much. Battery is actually pretty good during use and on stand by, and decided to go for the regular size since it’s easier to hold and very portable in my pocket
The regular pro is probably the best all arounder right now, it’s a great phone that will last you a long time. Big upgrade from the 12 with pro motion and Dynamic Island!

I got mine in January and I’m really happy with it my previous phone was a pixel 8 pro and that was a major disappointment

Hey there I’m using the standard 18W fast charger via the usb c cable. It was the same one I used when I had my 14 pro max, but with that phone my battery health dipped considerably faster
Bought the 15 Pro on launch date but after 5 months I swapped it for the 15 Pro Max just because of the battery life.
The battery life on the PM is pretty epic, not going to lie

Regarding battery - today I checked 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max at store. Pro Max was at 91% maximum capacity after 68 cycles and Pro was 94% after 85 cycles. But yep, those were demo phones.

Is it worth it? No. I used to care about having the latest and best specs but I don’t care anymore, I just want a phone that handles the basics and has a decent camera. I use a 13 mini but even the XR from 2018 is still very usable today. Spending $1,000 on a phone is wild.
I’m still using my iPhone X since it came out. I’m planning on buying the iPhone 15 Pro so I’m just watching some reviews on them, now I kinda want to just keep using my X until both my apps and Apple no longer supports and maintains them.

@@JSLReview that’s true , even the xr from 2018 still runs well. The new phones offer more features but most people don’t want or even care about them.
My XR is dying on me. Restarting by itself, lagging or freezing when I was watching a video on browser, etc.
The thin titanium of this phone is not stronger but weaker than steel..
Tech reviewers are doing too much about titanium, it's just ridiculous: stop. There are other things to talk. A very very large majority of people use case daily : they can't afford to have their phone damaged.

If only Apple made its phones compatible with the Apple Pencil. That would be great, especially for me as a technician. I hate carrying tablets with me.
There’s probably a reason why Apple didn’t make it compatible in the first place, writing on a phone would be difficult since the screen is small, you would have to have a small handwriting or to constantly zoom in or out when writing. I think you should just buy an iPad for that.

upgrading to a newer model is more beneficial for those who have the older ver. iphone. i went from an iphone 11 pro to a 15 pro. huge difference and love it.

I went from an iPhone 8 to a 15 Pro. I hate almost everything about the “upgrade.” It’s a far less user friendly experience for me.
@@SumDumGyin what regard, it’s still IOS. Face ID has come a long way and works seamlessly and the gestures based navigation becomes like second nature after using it for a few days

@@JSLReview No not at all. I still use the 5 watt little charging brick from back then but Im not using the usbc braided cable that came with my phone and using some regular one. Its a Samsung one I believe do you think that has anything to do with it? Also is it bad to use the bigger brick 20 watt charger that came with the 13pm? Let me know J?
@@Food-is_Life dang that sounds exactly what I experienced with the 14 pro max, seems like there’s a lack of consistency when it comes to battery performance from Apple right now.
Not many of you (none …) mention the washed out on-screen colours of the 15 Pro/Max. I just came from a long line of Samsung phones, lately the S23 and there is simply no comparison! Samsung gives you the option of adjusting colour temperature and other nice things such as a ‘vivid’ and ‘natural’ setting with individual RGB sliders. Simply put, you can make the display look just as you want. Apple is offering … zilch! ‘True tone’ does not solve the issue.
Furthermore, the camera app is diabolically lacking in features compared to Android and Samsung in particular.
Anyone thinking I am just a Samsung/Android fanboy … I am getting there! I changed to 15 Pro because I bought a Macbook Pro M2 last year. I like the Macbook, I am starting to REALLY disliking the 15 Pro.
Then there is the issue of the hollow/plasticky sounding screen when tapping it. Samsung back their OLED’s with a metal plate. It means when you tap the screen it feels like solid glass not like a piece of plastic. Apple apparently attach the screen surround only and the OLED panel rests on the battery, hence the awful noise it makes when touching. Anyone saying this is not the case … tap from the edges inward and see what happens.
How a company like Apple can release such a flawed, under featured flag ship phone for top dollars is beyond me. They seem to have truly lost it.
I am within the 14 day return policy whilst writing this and think another Samsung is close.
Action button - don’t care!
Titanium - don’t care!
USB-C - don’t care!
Thinner bezels - don’t care!
A17 chip - don’t care.
5x zoom - the only interesting upgrade in years, but not worth it.
Hopefully next year Apple will improve something people really care about, like the battery life or the selfie camera. Looking at the Samsung S24U - the next iPhone has some catching up to do.

Just got my 15 pro traded in my 13 pro. Speakers are way better it’s lighter and 1 tb is awesome!!

I love your video editing and the premium feel of the quality however I wanna point out when u talk over the video ,at the end of the sentence you are saying ,your voice volume goes down so it’s hard to hear what you are saying at the end of your sentence ,if possible can you improve how you speak 🥲
