After the nerfs of "increased damage with bow skills" no longer work, do you think the build died or can we get around this with a corruption in the quiver of "increased damage" or try to use plaguefinger, with a triple flat in the quiver
Oh this build definitely did not die. I think now you just value sources of increased damage higher where previously I was avoiding them like the plague since you got it all from your quiver. Getting an increased damage corruption on your quiver would be ideal but honestly probably not at the cost of good suffixes/implicits on it like attack speed/crit chance/crit bonus. It certainly will be worth saving up for though, especially if you are already using quiver effect jewels. For single target you would lose damage damage by switching from snakebites to plaguefinger's (even with a triple flat quiver) but it would certainly help your clearing dps since you are rarely attacking more than a couple times per pack. Maybe add on a ming's heart if you didn't already previously. Try to get generic sources of attack/chaos/projectile damage on things like jewels and rings. Damage wheels like dark entries and pure chaos get better if you weren't already taking those. But honestly all in all this setup is extremely high damage for the investment it takes and this nerf doesn't change that.
@@poopbutts I checked on "POB", Ming Heart on Vacuum gave +40% full DPS, the only ring that comes close and even surpasses is the original Sin with Insane Rolls with Elemental Flat on the Quiver, which I think is practically impossible to get, because you need the good rolls on the suffix and the corruption of Increased Damage doubled my damage on the POB, i.e. Ming Hearts is really insane
@poopbutts Hey, thanks for the guide in total, Really nice and your written guide is nice too. I am starting the acte 3 and I use only the COnC skill at the moment (as the rest is higher level), I am ok in damage : get the amulet and the quiver with +2 but on bosses, I have to wait the charges to gain up for getting more chance to push more on the boss. Is it normal? Am I missing something?
Damage is going to be at its worst it will ever be from the end of act 2 through 3. During that time I was gem swapping for boss fights (dropping bursting plague and scattershot for DPS supports like concentrated effect, chaos infusion, close combat etc ). Make sure you have despair socketed somewhere and a withering touch setup. Before eye of winter I use freezing salvo/rain of arrows + chaos infuson + withering touch Lastly, I was watching my buddy play this and he was attacking constantly in the final act 2 boss fight and running out of charges. The thing is though at that point in leveling you won't have many max poison stacks so you just attack enough to max your stacks and wait a little bit before attacking again. By the end of campaign you can attack as much as you want since the bosses will die so quickly it won't matter
@@emazens You can! I just personally didn't like how slow my run speed felt when I was using them without queen of the forest. It is entirely preference
Hi there. Nice vid. Loosely following your build. Just wondering ? How does poison conc level? Doe extra support slots? You can use jewellers orbs.. so is it character level?
@@1.1jame I have a belt with a .17 flask charges gained implicit along with 3 flask charges nodes I take on the tree. The only time I ever had mana flask charges issues was level 18-31 in the campaign but once I was able to put on a +2 proj level quiver my damage has been so high I have never ran out of charges. You could squeeze in alchemist boon by getting spirit in your amulet slot but honestly if you are running out charges the real fix is to just get more damage
Man I completely forgot to mention that. I tried it early on and thought it was okay but disliked giving up the ES recharge. Honestly though getting to ignore having to scale recharge and being able to Event Horizon back up might make it worth it. I'll try that again.
@@poopbutts I think it's only really usable with really high evasion, but it feels really nice in mid tier maps for me right now. Might try grabbing acro soon and see how that feels paired with it.

I might have missed this somewhere, but why are we choosing to socket in lightning damage to widowhail? Just curiuos about that choice and the interactions with the build.
@@zealdrive oh that is strictly for leveling with bows before pconc. I have a cheap widowhail I use for leveling and a better one I switch to. There are no runes/soul cores that effect pconc so you would eventually use +spirit ones but they are super pricey. You could also use attack speed soul cores if you are using vine arrow to supplement single target but I don't think that is necessary
I am doing Hybrid version using Event Horizon to lose Life on Poison Concoction use to allow me to use the Enduring Life Flask from Enduring Elixirs with Shavronne's Satchel, feels pretty good having 1k regen on both Life and ES. Sidenote, is Bonestorm actually worth it? It does not affect Poison damage, right? Because it's the same as how on Poison's in-game tooltip states that armour break does not affect it because it is a source of HIT damage taken which Bonestorm's debuff is. Maybe I am missing something.

The way the poison tooltip is worded I would think it works because it says it takes the final damage of the hit but not anything that alters how much damage the mob takes from the hit. I was under the impression the flat phys gets added to the concoction skill at the time of the hit but if it is a separate hit it also wouldn't work. But also I don't really think it is worth it or necessary the more I play the build. I very rarely use despair as is let alone bonestorm
@@poovitnitayaboon2673 my current tree is like 70% int nodes with the remainder on dex and 1-2 points on strength. You will likely need around +40 to dex or int on gear depending on which stat you take on the tree I have been thinking about dropping bonestorm and lowering my despair level since that would allow us to go lower on int
@@iTTiRiTzz we get a ton from our helmet because we take that node on the tree that gives you 2 evasion per energy shield. And I prioritise getting flat evasion where I can like on rings. You could get quite a bit more by using a hybrid es/evasion body armour but I prefer the larger hit pool of a pure es chest
Doing similar build but CI isn’t viable until late game maps whereas hybrid is better because less problems to solve for and that helmet is trash for this build if you’re running CI even without Ghost Writhe
Oh sure it is any jewel that adds "17-20% magnitude of ailments from critical hits" to notables. Plenty of other good mods you can get alongside that like any crit mod, any other ailment or poison magnitude, various ES mods, evasion, increased effect of small passives etc. I included a trade search for normal jewels in the video description but I didn't include a trade search for the radius ones because there is currently no way to search for them and you just need to look at a bunch :(
@@YevhenLoginov it isn't unique like mine is just a rare. That mod appears on one of the three radius jewels which are time-lost emerald, time-lost ruby and time-lost sapphire. The mod I mention appears on all 3. There is no way to filter the time-lost jewel mods on the trade site so you literally just search for the base and keep scrolling down until you find one. Finding good one sucks so bad right now lol
Entirely up to you but I just grabbed something cheap with "energy shield as stun threshold" but if you wanted something for damage you would want something like dark entries or pure chaos and if you just wanted a little more speed I would grab adrenaline rush
Yeah, but I really cannot recommend getting used to the ES exploit. They WILL nerf it. Worst case scenario is a wipe, which isn't unlikely considering it's early access.

Why not use Eternal Youth instead of Shav's Satchel? It's pretty close to CI and it feels pretty good to me.
