Hey bro I am from Scotland and I am starting delivery bike on Monday and just eat and I watch you on UA-cam channel and thanks 🙏 for information
Props for not losing the cool with the miserable woman at McDonald’s.
Unlike Harry Rides, Gig Hustle has more patience.
She was a McKaren
True although that was a flashback
$14 Pound per hour using an ebike is quite good overall. I would even reduce food from your earnings as all that stuff goes in a separate column called expenses anyway ;-)
huh love you videos specially the long one keep it up
We will be posting mostly long ones :)
Just think if you had a 750w motor and a 20 mph assistance speed! The EU ebike rules are lame.
hello pal.. what bike you got? and do you pay insurance? thanks
Hi 👋 could you tell please what kind of e bike do you have?
Hey do you know what age you have to be to deliver food and how do I start
Do you have to be registered with Just Eat to take orders with them through Stuart?
no
I don't know if that girl was flirting with you or was she shocked at your age?
Probably best you watch the full interaction here ua-cam.com/video/dTTb3fLt9MY/v-deo.html
Is it legal to work for multiple delivery companies at once? Thanks for the answer.
They don’t like it but if you can work multiple orders together then it’s really profitable
Ideally try to go similar direction but the delivery driver job for these companies has really drop in fares when Uber first started you could make £100 in 4 hours now you can do 10-12 hours for same money
@@billionone4100 Most definitely yeah, I live in Slovakia so hopefully it's gonna be profitable for me as a student. They pay well here.
Hi Jay. Maybe you could drop me a message please, I'd like to contact you as I'm seeking a bit of advice from a trusted source. Andy.
Hi Andy, you can send me an email and I'll respond to that :) - My email is in the description towards the bottom!
Hi Andy, I don't send emails out sorry. You can always send me an email or a comment here and I'll reply.
Hi Jay. Thanks for replying.
I've got a big problem with my uber account at the moment, after completing a job on Friday afternoon around 2.45pm my account was put on hold for no reason what so ever. Uber driver support was as useful as ever. Not able to contact anyone at all 😡. All my documents were valid, I've been driving with uber almost 3 yrs full time, and my driver ratings are 98%.
I can't get my head around why my account is on hold and don't get any proper reply from messaging uber. Just the usual generic nonsense.
I see via your channel that you have also had your account deactivate in the past and was wondering if you could offer any advice etc, or tell me how I can get to talk to someone at uber ?.
I've tried phoning uber but can never get to speak with anyone.
Many thanks.
Man that McDonalds looks soul destroying the guy behind @ 2:36 was even falling asleep LOL
I've done over 4000 deliveries over multiple platforms and I've probably done maybe 3 to 400 mcdonalds pick ups, I'v probably had less than 5 smoothe mcdonalds pickups when the order is ready to be collected.
The lady not understanding that peoples shoes pull in most of the water at McDonalds would have done me in. Great job deflecting her negative energy haha
Well if you take a cold bike into a warm humid environment you will get condensation all over your bike. If your bike is dirty it will make a bit of a mess.
Shoes bringing in water on a rainy day is unavoidable unless you close the restaurant down also people usually come from their cars parked a few seconds away outside and will not create big puddles of water plus customers will expect atleast a slightly wet floor on a rainy so not a huge safety risk. Bikes have usually been outside in the rain for atleast a few miles and will create a big puddle when left inside a restaurant for a few minutes which customers won't be expecting and is a safety risk which can be avoided so you're wrong she's right.
@@Parabler really got me on this one good job buddy
Round of applause for dropping off Mac Donald’s drinks on a bike I always wondered how you guys get away without spilling them, it’s a task alone even in a car
awe sorry for all the grumpy people you got in this video. hope you're doing all right, mate. keep up the great work-!!
Cheers mate!
I reject coffee orders.
Café’s should change their cups to suit deliveries
Just laid back chilling, I shut my eyes for a brief moment and I swear, I thought bear grylls was delivering food, you sounded just like him lol take care, good insight into food delivery
I had a tonne of people on my TikTok saying the same thing about me sounding like him. I watched some videos of him again and I can see it now haha
@@GigHustle sorry for the late reply, busy busy you know how it is. Take care out there in the wild 👍
Enjoyed the video Jay, amd especially liked the extra info on screen, such as delivery platform, and restaurants name splash..
When you're on the road, the camera angle is a bit deceptive.. it actually looks like some of the gaps you go through, between vehicles/bollards/cycle lanes etc are narrower than you and your bike, but of course its the camera angle looking down on your bike.. its hard to explain, but from a viewer point if view I sometimes think "uh hoh, he isn't going to make that gap!" (But of course, you do).. an example of what I mean is here 13:17 (looks like you might not get past the cone)
My editor Logan loved your feedback :)
The GoPro Superview mode creates that fish eye effect that you are talking about. It's quite engaging but people get annoyed because they think I'm cycling super close to pedestrians and things like that but actually I'm at a good distance to them but it's the camera making it seem I'm closer haha.
Today worked 12:30 - 14:45, Deliveroo only without any boost… 9 orders, £46.57. This has been my best shift since I started doing deliveries too (car driver)
£20 in fuel for that lmaooo
@@lowkeysalty And your insurance which is probs 2-3quid. Not much but adds up. I'm just not sure about even attempting this in my car. Seems pointless!
How's it been so far in a car? Are you consistently earning at least £10 p/h? Thinking about doing it on the odd weekend for a bit of extra cash.
Big fan of the vids keep it coming 👍🏼 you’re the guy who made me start
Cheers Rob! Makes me happy to hear that mate 👍
I agree, I'm exactly the same! It was watching Gig Hustle that made me want to do it.
Great vid mate! I’d like to see a short on how you pack your bag, give us some insight into how you manage to prevent spills so much. I still reject most order with hot drinks due to spillphobia 😂
I want to start this new hustle, I just got my bike, I just hope I will have a great time doing this and of course make some decent cash.
Well? did you?
No! I didn't, I applied but it took more than 9 months before I got a response from delivero@@rngpog4347
There are some very calming and good vibes that I got from this video thank you! haha. I like your inner child coming up when looking at cartoon graffiti and inflated balloon thingie. It was great seeing your POV when earning money, it really gives this a video gaming like feeling xD
Thank you! I'm glad you got these feelings from the video :) You aren't the last person to say it's a bit like a video game and it actually feels like it sometimes too!
Crap shift tonight. 🤣 4 hours... 35quid... Every run was 4miles out... Back and forth, clocked 36miles in total.. killed the battery. Miss the quick, half mile drops.
Just Eat huh.
Hi mate I see you have no issues and smoothe pickups from mcdonalds, can you do a delivery video in London doing only mcdonalds pickups please, I believe you will either be wasting most of your time waiting or you will give up on mcdonalds, will make a interesting video
thank you very much for the discount for my bag
You’re welcome :)
Must be some tight fisted people out there, never seen anyone giving a tip, I'm glad you are not one of those 125cc scooter riders, you know the ones, no signals, through red lights.
Great content mate you seem like a really decent bloke! Well done for doing what you do and being so tolerant when people are so rude!!
Cheers mate! I really appreciate the kind words! You definitely need patience for this work haha
I did 10-12 and 1-2 today and got one single order for £3.20. Hoping tomorrow is a better day
People want the hangover food on Sunday morning so its busy lol
Yes haha. Also lots of people take Sunday as a holiday for various reasons. So not many drivers/riders are out!
Absolutely superb video mate. I find these fascinating to watch, especially as I have just been signed on to Just Eat in my area! Sunday morning it is then! Keep up the good work my friend.
How does tax work on this ? Self-Employed with UTR number
Yes you're correct
Quick question:
When / if you’re waiting for orders do you recommend cycling around or just staying in the centre or a busy place?
Stay in a busy place and save your battery/energy!
Did you see that London eats removed the video of that absolute melt Harry Rides arguing with the KFC manager about wanting the Ribeena? If you ask me he made the right decision, London Eats should not associate himself with such rabble.
Yep he told me about that. The video was off to be honest but it was good that he took it down because he could see that.
Hey bro
Delivero , uber eats
Which one is better
LOL @ 24:58 The lady actually says "so what age are you now then"?
There’s 4 McDonald’s in Nottingham town center btw, Victoria center, culumbas street, angel row and exchange walk
You are right haha. Sometimes I’m focusing so much on riding my bike I forget these small details 😅
Had a good shift on deliveroo me self today 1.2 boost £50.30 in 3 hours 15 mins. A woman (I think they might have been a transexual?) Gave me £10 tip! Biggest tip I've ever had.
That's not bad at all and a £10 tip! I got a £10 tip a few week ago for delivering one of my dad's electric bikes to a customer...sadly I don't get anything close to that on food delivery haha
What bag do you actually use?
Can you tell me which bike are you using?
You were in the wrong lane going round the roundabout at 12:44
What is it with youtubers not wear gloves?
Keep up the good work bro
Don’t let someone acting like a fool ruin your day 👍👍👍
Im watching all your videos from morocco and love it ❤️😘👍
:)
15:09 You sound like Gordon Ramsay!
"Just eat introduced a thing called my sister's burning up my messages"
xD
Help! I accepted an Uber eats order of £3 and just after I got a just eats order of £7. Can I actually reject the Uber eats order after accepting? Would I get a penalty?
Some of the bike lanes are nice over there
Ur doing the right way using a bike instead of a vehicle. Drivers don’t realize the mileage is much more precious than their little earnings after gas and taxes… 🤦♂️
thats not the way to multiapp if you work with your best interest in mind. if theres another pickup and delivery that are convenient to where you are and are headed, its stupid not to take it. just dont hit confirm right when they ask lol.
they dont like it sure but otherwise a lot of drivers and riders would not be doing deliveries and they would not like that either, especially with the low ass rates they try to get people to accept.
Love the videos - just subbed - what bike do you use?
Cheers mate! My dad designed my bike back in 2015 and it's still going strong!
@@GigHustle super cool! I mean like what make and model is it?
There is actually 4 Mcdonalds in the city centre, madness really 😄.
Victoria, Clumber, Angel Row and Exchange. You are right!
What bag are u using pls?
Kids inflatable water wings would help used as packers when carrying hot drinks 👍
I am also from India
Hello, how do you do multi app safely as I want to do the same but I really don't want to have my account deactivated lol
I do love a new upload from Gig!
Don't want to be seen as a hater but.....as a road user should u be using your mobile phone whilst moving ...doubt it
Do you have an eletric bike? You going fast with not much effort...
Yes it's electric! My dad designed my bike like 7 years ago and it's still going strong. He has an electric bike shop here in Nottingham :)
@@GigHustle What's the shop called? I might check it out
I get the feeling the woman in the McDonalds flashback was trying to flirt and it was going terribly 😂
What backpack is this?
Nice vlog..
upload at least 2 videos a week so i will boost your channel and your channel will grow fast
Loving the content
this area you work looks like it would be much better with a scooter.
Awesome one Jey! Annoying rude people everywhere. Keep rocking! Take care
I have to be very patient haha
@@GigHustle yeah we just need to ignore them.
Man… I signed up for this. Paid to get my bike fixed, paid £40 for some stupid background check. Went and waited 2 hours in my busiest area and didn’t get a single order 🤣 definitely not bothering with this it’s a shame
You paid for a background check?????
sorry if its already mentioned........ what kinda bike are u riding?
As far as I am aware the three minute rule only applies to Uber Eats McDonald’s orders
hi what that's name of the blue bag your using ?
Starbucks London? !!! Never knew
Love the videos I’m from derby
Working for different companies?
But how does it affect your taxes?
Coz in NL ppl don't usually work for 2 or more companies due to bad taxes
Aren't they technically self employed/"independent contractors"? They don't count as employees of the companies most of the time...
Yeah self employed.
Love the videos I’m from derby
Great to see you back making some excellent content again! So riders can report bad service from restaurants?
Yes we can but not sure how much it actually makes a difference. If I have a bad experience I'll report it though.
Sick vid much love from England
Deliveroo is taking ages to accept me
What Phone you are using?
Nice Work brother👍🏻
This is so interesting to watch
You never stop at zebra crossing for pedestrians ?
Have you watched my other videos? I do stop at zebra crossings but 90% of the time I stop and they always tell me to go...they wave me forward. So when 90% of people keep telling me to go even when I stop...it becomes natural to just keep going. You'll see this in my next video on Monday.
Trying to deliver badly packaged hot drinks on our countries awful bumpy roads is a nightmare. I prefer lunch and dinner times to deliver. I can’t be bothered with coffee these days.
I usually avoid Starbucks because I heard that they don't pack their drinks properly but it seems they've realised this and made changes. It's good that they are using cling film to wrap the drinks! I'll experiment with some Starbucks orders and see if this is the same for hot drinks. I love breakfast shifts...it's a great start to my day (when I can wake up early haha). Btw I saw you comment on CNSR's videos haha :D
@@GigHustle the only coffee spill I ever had was from Starbucks. Hopefully they’ve improved their packaging. I don’t know if they have GAILS bakery in Nottingham but that’s my favourite breakfast place to deliver for. No coffees lol.
I ordered a Burger King off Deliveroo yesterday and it turned up cold. Complained to Deliveroo and was given 33% refund! I mean the food was inedible. My five year old ate his because he was hungry. Although I understand you wanting your deliveries to be ready when you go to pick them up, I feel these orders should only be made once you the driver gets there as it’s obvious my food has been sat around for at least 10 minutes prior to it being picked up, which meant it was always going to be cold! Also lots of Deliveroo/Uber drivers are very rude when they pick up from restaurants……..a sense of entitlement, thinking they’re more important than the people they’re already serving. Food for thought for you, hopefully. Thanks
They wouldn't get paid to stand around waiting for the order to be cooked so can't really blame that on the riders
@@deanbean8994 so do you believe it’s a great experience I had? What would you suggest that could be done differently? The fact that this guy routinely cancels picking up food in favour of other orders (appreciate he will take the best paid orders) means riders are more than likely to be blamed for food being cold, as it will take a lot longer for it to be picked up! It’s a flawed model. Would love to see the analytics on customer satisfaction, particularly relating to the temperature of the food.
@@Whatmobiledeal no not at all a great experience you had, like you say it's more a flawed system by deliveroo than the riders themselves. Don't hate the player, hate the game 😅
@@Whatmobiledeal It's the nature of the business. The drivers are not employees, so only paid per order. If one of the apps forced them to take orders or punished them for cancelling, they would all just use the other 2 apps. The only way that would work is if they paid drivers a wage at the same time, which would raise prices and the other apps again would win.
@@HoucKSF that doesn’t make it right, buddy. These companies should punish drivers with 90 minute timeouts if they keep accepting then cancelling orders. It’s creating a very poor customer experience to the point I’d be reluctant to use Deliveroo again. The fact that orders are decreasing substantially also now, means that customer experience is more important than ever now.
I thought it made sense that JustEat pays the most, they're probably the biggest and most profitable company of them all, personally I've never used Ubereats or Deliveroo.
