      the racquets they sell us are different then the ones the players use. I went into a store and the guy knows I play with the K factor 90. He says to me "want the new Fed racquet? It's got more power. Why do you think Federer likes it?" and I said "Fed's racquet is different then the consumer racquet." He didn't know what to say because he knows I am right. The point is, don't choose a racquet because of who uses it. Choose a racquet that's right for you.

      I love it too, but in the 3:22 point Federer reverses and wins the point from a backhand duel, with a single top-spin backhand. I wonder if Gasquet's backhand is as good as it was a few years ago.

    Federer - happily destroying 80s born players' careers since 2003. Roddick, Hewitt, Nalbandian, Tsonga, Gasquet, Berdych, the list goes on.... 2 notorious exceptions remain of course!

    WTF. You showed ONE side of the match!!! I love Gasquet esPESCIALLY when he and Fed play. They are VERY similar in style and THIS was a match you should HIGHLIGHT. It was GORGEOUS!!!!Aren't YOU the Tennis people?? You should educate future generations on this. Both of their styles are almost antiquated yet they remain in the top of the field. Why is that? Why is Gasquet's backhand so powerful and accurate? Why is Federer 36, not muscular, #2 in the world with a ONE handed back hand?? DO IT!!!!

    Tons of unforced errors from the backhand wing... but something really admirable... stepped up another gear when he got broken in the 3rd set... finished the third set when he wanted to rather than taking it to tb... I think that extra gear in the end of the third should be sufficient to take the trophy home!!

  • @mayanksharma484

    Gasquet's main problem lies in his playing style. Just sticks to the baseline and keeps hitting topspin on forehands. That's not gonna hurt any of the top guys. His backhand is good but the serve and forehand lets him down. Anyways, another great win for the G.O.A.T. Grand Slam No. 20 on the cards

    So this is the second highlights video I am seeing (the first official one). Both of their comments section had one thing in common, something along the lines that Nadal will beat Federer in a possible encounter in the near future. I am a big fan of both of them, but here's the thing. The same has been said during every tournament where there was a chance of a possible encounter, right from AO 2017 to Indian Wells to Miami to Shanghai, but it never happened. Roger can and does easily step up his power game when he needs to, the entire previous season is a hint to that. By the time the Miami final was conducted, Roger was completely exhausted with continuous tournaments (quite visible from the dip in his form), yet he beat Nadal in the final. I don't know man, these absurdly wild and pretty much the same predictions that people make on every video that has Federer's name on it, has really made me question people's ability to comprehend statistical data. But yeah, may the best player win.

      Ethan istanforCBE I absolutely agree with your point of no favourites. And it's good to have opinions that aren't biased, so yeah I appreciate your view. Though I feel, Federer is in sublime form, taking it easy in the early rounds.

      @royboy6522 6 років тому

      I agree but this time i feel Nadal has the game to beat fed this Year and maybe already at AO but they have to beat many other great players still to give us a dream final again....

    • @MrPatrickbuit
      @MrPatrickbuit 6 років тому +3

      To be fair, at the AO, and especially at IW and Miami it was constantly Roger who was playing better tennis. Now that's not the case, Nadal is playing the best tennis atm by far. The glimpse of hope I like to cling onto is the 2017 Shanghai final, because that was real footage of Roger stepping up his game. Nadal was on fire all week, hadn't dropped serve once. Roger was struggling, lost a set to Delpo. Yet in that final Roger just stepped up his game like a madman and blasted Rafa off the court.

    I'm a huge Federer fan, however, I must stay that he is looking far from his best at the moment. That being said, as age passes, he has become even more unpredictable. He has looked rusty so far, nothing compared to last year, however, as a champion, he has this ability to raise the bar every time when under duress. He proved that last year. The backhand needs to start firing as a major weapon again. So far, it has not. But still BEL20VE!!!!

    AO really loves Federer arent they.... im not a hater and i like Roger but Why is AO ONLY putting him at night session and on RLA i mean he is the GOAT but Please give him a day match Because these night matches are really good for him for the next rounds.... (physically) and Nadal and stuff have to play day matches WHERE the weather is really hot.

    • @kgarg92
      @kgarg92 6 років тому +28

      Roy Boy AO gives Federer preferential treatment and people hate Federer for it..great logical minds. But think this - Federer has been and still is the biggest crowd puller over past 15 years now. When Federer plays, TV ratings are higher than other matches. Organisations have to make money obviously, its a business. Last year at AO he played in couple of day matches due to lower ranking.

    • @royboy6522
      @royboy6522 6 років тому +4

      K G as i said at the beginning of my comment i love fed.... but AO and other tournaments have to stop giving fed these kind of things, if we look at Novak as an example, he has ONLY played one match on RLA (i think correct me if im wrong) i know he is the number 16 in the world rn but come on he has won AO 6 times ffs

    • @MrPatrickbuit
      @MrPatrickbuit 6 років тому +3

      Roy Boy Nadal has to play matches early, which isn't much worse than Roger. It's Nole who has the right to complain, since he has to play at the worst times.

    Roger Federer is playing avg tennis this year. He is committing lot of unforced errors. Backhand is worst.
    His problem is his conversion of Break Points. Percent of break point conversion is very less. He is not going to win AO this year. He will be out in 4th round or QF. Nadal will win AO for sure

    Roger could have had so many more titles to his name had it not been for Drug Novak Djkovic. Now that Novak Djkovic has stopped taking boost he is not competitive anymore. If he wins this one then drug test will reveal everything!!
