- California's decision is the first of its kind to come out of last month's Supreme Court Grants Pass ruling, giving cities more power over removing homeless camps.
You finally see Portland police are refusing to do anything to help the city. They need to clean house.
They were Defund the Police.. Karma to the city
FUCKING CLEAN IT UP PORTLAND! Fix this! Shit!
We wouldn't have Homeless people in the United States of America, if the Government quit helping the immigrants and help the American people FIRST
Bingo and they should give us money too
Bingo and they should give us money too
The government does not care about the american people they never have
WHERE'S THE $24 BILLION MISSING TAX PAYERS DOLLARS FROM THE HOMELESS FUND?????
WHAT DID NEWSOM DO WITH THE $24 BILLION DOLLARS FOR THE HOMELESS????
WHERE THE FUK IS THE $24 BILLION DOLLARS THAT IS MISSING?????
WHERE IS THE MISSING $24 BILLION CALIFORNIA????
Just a tiny fraction of that money could have been used to buy a plot of land to grow food and build shelters.
"Public camping"🙄
They literally make up words as they talk.😂😂
@@BOBBIEVALINTINE can you image if we all just started changing common words and talking gibberish in normal life?
Amazing how these lunatics just do whatever they want the world is expected to just go along with it.
This year is going to be worse than the last, no doubt about it. Due to poor investment decisions that I would not have made if I hadn't been so concerned about my portfolio, I lost a significant amount of money last year. I continued to invest, but I was undecided about whether to begin making house payments. I eventually sold my jobs, and the house required more work than I had anticipated. I'm not sure how much longer I can continue in this manner.
Everybody has erred at some point. It's wise that you think about financial planning.
Indeed. With the assistance of a financial planner, I was able to diversify my portfolio across multiple markets and attain a net profit of over one million dollars by utilizing high-yielding bonds, ETFs, and shares. Having exposure to a range of companies, including ones that are currently producing cash flows, is essential.
Please let me know who your adviser is if it's okay; I need some recommendations

The biggest beneficiaries of a zero tolerance policy on illegal camping will be the people living in the camps.
Key words "I came here" Number one enforce the law number two bus tickets out for the homeless and the supporters.
Kotek was a homeless advocate before she became a legislator, what does that tell you? Homelessness in Oregon will never be solved as long as she's governor.
California > oregon
That is really sad.
The rape occurring in these tents is insane also the fires they cause too. Ban all camping.
In my city, Albuquerque, we have had so many businesses closed and torched by the homeless and their campfires. And they will keep saying that the shelters are so dangerous because they will say whatever they need to say to promote their lawless lifestyle. Enough is enough.
The homeless should be moved to the properties of their sympathizers. Im sure they wont mind having dirty drug addicts living on their property.
Exactly
You guys are lazy.
No dude, you pay camping fees at campsites. ‘This is America’. Who do you think you are?!
🎯
With up to 80% of wildfires being caused by unsanctioned camping I think Pam Marsh should be held politically responsible. The state is burning and she doesn't see any better options than that.
Where did you pull that statistic out of? Your ass💩maybe?
They let it go so long.... and then they're done in 2 weeks......
Oregon has the largest homeless population per capita in the country. Unacceptable.
Terrifying how people don’t associate public safety with these sidewalk encampments. Truly frightening
Teriffiying how a U.S. government and many of it's citizens are more worrying about simply building low cost hosing like it's something impossible to do.Also terrifying that the Government allows foriegn narcotics trafficking to poison them with fentanyl and nobody gets arrested or deported.
Of course the homeless industrial complex isn't happy
Always an excuse. Over a decade of easily visible incompetence and corruption. Keep in mind elected officials support people to not be accountable for actions, an echo of their own personalities. Why pay the taxes? Leave now.
I now live in Albuquerque. I have never seen so much lawlessness. License plates seem to be optional here. Every time I stop at a traffic light, I see about 25% of the cars have no license plates. Or they are intentionally obliterated. Why should I be the only one to pay that tax?
Dude needs a warehouse for the amount of that stuff.
You can live outdoors if you want but you have got to buy land to do that no one gets land for free nothing is free.
Of course, nothing happened when it was supposed to. Between Wheeler and JVP, we're still chasing our tail like a bored puppy. How many millions is Metro still sitting on?
Even if you give a house to any of these homeless people, I doubt that they could maintain it. So, we have to provide housekeepers for these people too.
No Safety Measures and stop contagious diseases. Don’t impose your dangerous living and unhealthy environment to others. Everyone needs to respect their space on private property and federal and state properties.
No way to remove homeless.keep comming back.no home anywere.
Stop interviewing shirtless drug pirates Blair im concerned for your safety
All anyone in government anywhere has really done is talk, talk, talk ad nauseum and pass a few weak unenforcable laws. Very little "affordable housing" that costs 2,000 mo.or more has been built but elderly and vets don't get anywhere near the income to pay that much. So, unaffordable to most, if not all homeless folks.😢😮😂
Happy to see these places scrubbed out! About time the homeless be told the free ride is over!!
Ur fucked up
This campaign has to go you don’t want services then move out of the state that lady is right California is not a place to be homeless so go to another state and be homeless there
Tina is going to lose all her tax money if she does not start getting in line to fix this problem. What happen to that magical taskforce that she put together to start working on this issue. Oh...The only thing they accomplished was meetings and improving how government agency communicate with each other.
“Government is instituted for the common good; for the protection, safety, prosperity and happiness of the people; and not for the profit, honor, or private interest of any one man, family, or class of men and to reform, alter, or totally change the same, when their protection, safety, prosperity and happiness require it.” - John Adams Thoughts on Government, 1776
Vote. Republican.
No, Thomas Crooks had a better idea

California the Mad Max state. Lol
Don't sweep humans under the carpet. Treat the underlying issues!
Step 1: Get sober
Step 2: Get a job
Step 3: Get a home
The underlying issue is letting people camp In the street and subsidizing it. There are literally people coming here from other states this is insanity. My children deserve a safe and clean environment to grow up in not a city littered with drug addicts and danger around every corner.
We can treat the homeless issue as you demand! What is your home address and the closest bus stop? Sharing is caring - thank you for volunteering your home for the herds of homeless drunken druggies! No more homeless once they pack into your place!
If you feed them they will come
No if you feed them they will stay.
So some old bag is responsible for this?
Blairs incredibly stunning looks are really juxtaposed with the filth and slime of the city . 10 / 10
Wait.. huh?
it is a bizarre juxtaposition that I have noted as well.
Blair is one hot little biscuit!! 😍🔥🥵🥰
So where are they supposed to go? I guess they'll just evaporate?
This is the Result of Unbridled Capitalism. There are Laws regarding Business Monopolies but Real Estate Moguls don't have any Limits. Corporations buying Homes and Apartments for profit has caused this as well.
Portland's homeless population doesn't seem very diverse. Seems about whyte lol
Maybe b/c Portland is most w?

Republicans need to buy some paint , brooms, and band together to save the cities.
What’s the point in arrest just force them into shelters
Because you can’t force them into a shelter. You can, however, force them into jail if they refuse to go to a shelter.
It may not be enough shelters
@lostinthedesert-hp4bw jail is there shelter and we pay for it
Expand corporate minimum tax to 35% at least, raise personal tax minimum to 20k per year (or match to federal poverty guidelines)
Reinstate child stimulus
Scrap the cap on SS income, eliminate SS taxes, and drop the age to 55 (allow those who can retire or medically need to, while making room for the youth to join the game of musical chairs we call a job market)
Expand AmeriCorps and pay living wages (to minimize AI and automation job losses)
The only long term solution to homelessness in Portland is
to provide these poor souls with new R.V.s so that the
camps look like they belong . The money is there , just
ask those in government that give it away to their friends

I recall as a young man the smell of boiling crab on San Francisco fishersmen warf. Just last year I had a Semiconductor show to attend at the Moscone Center, a half dozen men were taking turns shitting on the same steaming pile center of the sidewalk, urine pools, vomit, used condoms and drug needles everywhere
I think they could fit where everybody else was poor, Honduras or Guatemala? $100/month should suffice.
