I am not an expert by any stretch of imagination, as a matter of fact I barely know how an ICE car works. Been said that, I would plug in a pressure gauge where the low oil pressure sensor is connected and compare the readings to whatever range the manufacturer says is normal given an rpm and other conditions. If the readings from the gauge are normal I would take the engine out of the equation and say there is a problem starting from the low oil pressure sensor all the way up to the ECU (cables, instrument panel transducer, ECU itself, etc). If readings from the external pressure gauge are out of range then I would probably say that there is something wrong with the oil pump or maybe an oil path blocked? Anyway, that is what I would probably do. By the way, I love your videos and they help me to fix several things on my 95 Tercel. Thumbs up! 👍
